Nier - 360/PS3 - £11.95/£12.95
About that, all I know is that one of the characters is a hermaphrodite, besides that why should I buy it? I enjoy the occasional jRPG as long as it has a good battle system with lots of skills and equipment.

Nuts and Bolts is great fun if you like to solve problems by creating you own objects, and going against what the game tells you to do. However, if you like to solve puzzles the regular old fashion platforming way, then it is not for you.

There is one point in the game where it told me to build a vehicle to defend a certain object by blowing up things that were attacking it until the time ran out. I kept faling blowing te things up, so I got pissed and instead I built a giantcage and put it around the object until the time ran out... not what the game wanted, but it decided it was acceptable.

Also, if you like games that are breakable by doing weird crazy stuff it is for you too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-6IbTNpJGA

It has none of these things, but it is weirdly entertaining in its own way.

There is a 4 for £45 happening at Zavvi... technically

Just go to their 2 for £25 page, choose 4 games, they will come up as £50, and then add their £5 off voucher (ZAVVIFIVE) and you get 4 games for £45.

That is a good deal for a bunch of games, just make sure you cannot buy the games you want elsewhere for less than £11.25 - as that would be the only way you would lose out.

Also, the likes for Mass Effect 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 have recently got added to the deal page to match Play's similar deal.

Do you know how long zavvi offers this 2 for 25£ deal?

I think the 2 for £25 is an ongoing thing on the site, but they only added some decent games recently cause Play.com started their own 2 for £25, and they tried to match it with something decent / better. A different (or worse) selection of games could pop up at any time. I am not sure when ZAVVIFIVE runs out either, if you plan on using that.

Don't. Even at that price it's not worth it.
blasphemy.

Hmm I have a choice to make. I want a game <£20 out of these, which one should I go for?

Lost Planet 2
3d Dot Heroes
FFXIII
Metro 2033
Alpha Protocol

Or does anyone want to sell me their Singularity or Crackdown 2 for a cheeky £20 (shipped).

I haven't played Lost Planet 2 yet, but none of the others are really recommendable. All four are average and you could probably put your £20 to better use somewhere else.

FFXIII, LP2, Metro 2033

I am not helping, am I?

And do zavi ship to Sweden? =o

I've been keeping an eye on the Logitech DF GT prices as I want one for GT5 - it just went down to £79.99 at Argos (UKers only)+1.5% quidco, if anyones interested

Oh wheely???
Bah, I need a wheel for my PS3, especially for when GT5 comes out, this may fit the bill. Well unless if I can't find a cheap G25 knocking about before then.

I'm guessing the GT works on PC too? If so it'll be even closer to being bought.

Isn't this practically the same wheel as the old Driving Force Pro? You can usually get a good second hand DFP for around the £30 mark, unless you really want the GT branding or those extra tuning dials, that's a better way to go imo.

Second hand wheels will be covered in some chavs sweat - no thanks!

Got Bayonetta for £8.99 in Gamestation the other day. It was £14.99 new but it had a sticker on there for £8.99 down from £14.99. Might be worth going down to check.

Fucking great game.

Edit - 360 btw.

I have a fiver credit in my tesco account too but that code isn't working for Starcraft 2 :( ?!?!

It's a one use per account code, which has been around for almost 6 months, so you might have used it before. If so, you can create another account with the same address/payment details and Tesco will accept it them - they only check emails to see if you used it before. If the £5 credit is tied to your account, then I think you are out of luck to take advantage of both :/

I'll add that this code appears to be working for pre-orders. Just tried it with Deus Ex: Human Revolution (plus Skate 3). And Vanquish plus Halo Reach.

Just bought a PS3 off of a friend of a friend for £100, with Modern Warfare 2. It's an old Euro 60gb that can play some PS2 games. I told him he could easily get more for it, but £100 was all he was asking for.

Now, the controller has been used as a chew toy by his dog, but it was an old SIXAXIS anyway, with no rumble. So my question is, where's the cheapest place for controllers? Preferably official ones.

It was released here in the UK on all formats, but tbh its hard to find it at a reasonable price, and most places are sold out, which is weird cos everyone has the original version for sale.

has anyone seen force unleashed - sith edition available and for a reasonable price?

cant find a fucking copy anywhere!
Not to be smug but I was lucky enough to swag this when it came out for rather cheap.
I'm not sure as to why stock was so limited for this game though....
Your best bet would be either Marketplace, Play Trade or Ebay.

£45 for StarCraft 2 digital download from Battle.net :lol

Setup the Mrs as a new user for Tescos entertainment and got it for £29.75 using the code (£35 without code).

Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising (360/PS3/PC) - £4.99 @ Play

I'm tempted, but is it even worth that price and more importantly, is it worth my time? I mostly heard bad things about this game, bugs all over the place, silly AI...?

I loved the original one on PC.

The original OFP is one of my favourites too, so I looked up a bunch of videos and reviews on Dragon Rising and found out that it's apparently kind of dumbed down and pretty unpolished. Still at that price, I couldn't help but order it.

edit: I beat Keyser to a deal, eff yes!

Congratulations! :lol

I think I'll pass, there are just too many great games out there, that I haven't played yet. And I read somewhere, that they're working on a new Flashpoint game, maybe this time they'll do it right.
