Yeah, on the later fighters the motion controls feel a bit too slow for the game.
 
So I was in HMV yesterday and got myself New Play Control Pikmin 2 for £9. Oddly enough, Pikmin 1 was more expensive at £11 :lol

I don't know if I mentioned it already but they also had Fragile Dreams for £15.

Yeah I forgot to mention it myself. HMV do have some pretty good prices at the moment, along with a decent Sale section. I went in the other day and picked up a number of games that were cheaper than or almost as cheap as online stores.

These are the ones I remember:
Fragile Dreams - £15
Rune Factory Frontier - £15
Onechanbara (360) - £7
Alice in Wonderland (DS) - £12.99
Muramasa & Okami in the 2 for £30 deal.

They also had a very good selection of obscure and overlooked Wii games, and quite a large 2 for £30 section. This obviously depends on the size of your local store, but any city ones should have a good selection.
 
lol they raised valkyra up by £1 for this mega monday, it was £11.95 before. Not many good deals :(

there's Halloween sale codes but only work on those Halloween items, which are spook3 and spook5
 
The Zavvi Mega Monday's have been meh for months. They are recycling the same games over and over again. They put games on there which didn't get a mega monday treatment at all, like KHBBS, Vanquish LE, ME2, NMH2 and Blazblue in the hope that some people might fall for it.

Has anyone's GS Ireland purchase gone through?

I'm just a little paranoid, given that the price is for today only. I don't want to be part of some dodgy deal that ends up with me thinking I'm paying 3 Euro, only to find out that the purchase went through the day later and I'm now paying 30.

They have to keep to that price, right?

I dunno about your banking situation, but my RF:G order yesterday went through immediately. I'm from the UK, btw.

If you mean looking at statements my bank will take it off the available but it takes a day or two before it appears on the written list, if they don't bill you instantly for that price and did charge you 30 euro a day later they would be breaking the law.
 
I'm with Natwest and from the UK. The money has gone out, but it still says 'acquired' when I look at my order status..

It's now listed as not available. I'm thinking they've taken on a few more orders than they could handle and I'm on the losing side. Here's hoping that's not the case.

It's £37,95 at Zavvi.

If you know someone who wants FO3 GOTY Edition PC, you get £5 off on your purchase of Fallout NV. It's supposed to work with all versions of FO3 GOTY Edition, but Zavvi is only selling the PC version. The console versions are sold out. Combine this deal with a Walkers coupon and the 2 games together costs £41,31. Fallout NV will then cost £41,31 - 12,95 FO3 = £28,36

Truly is the worst time to ask. The week before release of any game all the good preorder price will be gone - although I don't think there was ever a big drop in this during the preorder period

Zavvi's price is too high for the 10% code to be worthwhile, so Base is best @ £35 :/
 
You do not need to enter a crisp code to get the 10% discount code. You just need to register. Follow the survey "tell us more" link that comes up after registration. Fill that out, then click the top "Rainy Day" button, and follow those links to get your 10% code.

You cannot stack the 10% codes with each other. You can however stack them with some codes Zavvi/TheHut run - such as £6 of £60 and £2 of £20 code. However, there are no such codes available for use right now.

The problem is, the descrption from the GAME website is ambiguous and doesnt say what games are in the pack. When someone questioned this on HUKD, the op responds with...

Yeah 100% sure, although the description is useless. My friend purchased this a few weeks back online. If you have the game scanned in a Game store it comes up with the same name, PC Strategy Pack, I don't know if any Game staff members are on here to confirm that? I don't know why it doesn't have a picture or any description, but I'm sure if you were uncertain you would be able to ring / email. It's been in stock for at least a month online at this price, so even if you have to wait a few days for a reply it probably wont sell out.

Ordered MAG from Zavvi. Not played a FPS in ages, and thought it would be worth while trying out the Move with it. Hope it's not a waste of 18 hard earned pounds!

The game is actually not that bad. It's kina like Elite Beat Agents for High School Musical fans. I'd recommend you to buy it for 1€. :D

The word on HUKD is that it is vaild, and some people are downloading now

Once you have bought, to get the key you:

Click "Your Account" on the left sidebar

Look under "My Accounts" part, there are multiple options there, but find and click" My Downloads".

The Key will show up in there apparently, although it may take a while

edit - they raised the price back to £23.35 the second I posted this :/

Also, Enslaved has RISEN in price by almost £5 on TheHut, which could be a hint they will drop the price soon soon (they raise the price first so they can boast they dropped the price by 60% in the newsletter emails)
