I know absolutely nothing about Home. What are some things I should try on the get go?
 
Why do you care about Home Beta , isnt the open beta come close ?.. And isnt it useless and sux :D , at least right now ?..

i think its gonna be those 'Forever" betas. Never officially launching

Has anything changed recently, or are things still pretty limited in the beta?

Jim recommneded I check out my Jpn account yesterday as they still have quite a few things (TGS booth, etc.) functional. Looks pretty swanky, but I don't know Japanese so people start talking/texting to me and I can't really respond.

ditto here, i don't remember signing up for anything, looks like home is coming very very soon.
 
I just got an invite, but being that I sold my PS3 about 6 months ago, doesn't really do me any good. I'll give out my code to the first PM I get. Kind of funny, because I don't remember signing up for any betas when I had my PS3.

I don't know if the codes are user specific but its worth a shot to let someone else have it.

So, Sony is sending out unsolicited invites to people who havn't signed onto PSN in 6 months before sending invites to Qore annual subscribers?:lol

I'm really ticked off about that.

Damn I have 5 PSN accounts, and downloaded the Home theme, and still no invite. Someone thankfully already offered me a code but I'd like to give a code away.
 
I got a code for the beta today. I'm still stuck with Verizon's shitty 5GB/month bandwidth cap so there's no way I can use it. Nor can I download the Biohazard 5 demo... or the TRU DLC... or the GTA4 DLC... ugh. This blows. (end LiveJournal-esque rant)

I'm gonna go for dinner? Oh the cruelty. When I had a code to give away I was tempted to say "the first one who tells me where my avatar is from" but thought it mean so stuck to traditional first come, first served.
