Yep. This is how I've felt lately. The internet started to open people up and then was weaponized against us.

And this was in Chicago, no less, which is -- generally -- a bastion of blissful liberalism. (Though probably not as much as, like, Portland or something.)

Stop calling racist people mentally ill and giving them a fucking out. This is part of that reinforcement I mentioned. No one stans for fucking ISIS terrorists and calls them mentally ill. We call them monsters. But goddamn the possibility of a white man being a racist shitstain just because. If you default to this shit in situations where black people are victims of brazen white supremacy, you are part of the fucking problem.

First of all, I didn't default to it. My first couple of posts I didn't even think about it. Then after I watched it a few more times I was like "this guy is fucking nuts!"

Anyway, I wasn't trying to offend, and despite peoples' attempts to villify me based on my post history, I fully agree that this guy is a racist shitstain just because.

Without further ado, I'll see myself out.

That's disturbing, he's only 2 years older than me.

I would have imagined an adult in their late 30s and above would have punched someone in the middle of the street, not a 23 year old... Punching a senior...

What a shitty world we live in.

I think Obama was the intermission to our regularly scheduled programming that we confused for the program itself. That was my first time getting seriously involved in politics so I thought "things aren't so bad."

Won't make that fucking mistake again.

Good god, he went off even worse than I was expecting. Then punches a random man? They let you walk away you piece of shit. Good on the crowd for not pounding him into paste, and holding him down til he got charge. I'm sure his suit looked real nice after spending time pinned on the sidewalk.
 
My sister's friends family was at a family entertainment establishment and a guy was throwing racial slurs at them, the family proceeded to beat the hell out of the guy with no consequence.

In this situation, they probably shouldn't have erred on the side of caution once the punch was thrown. Its a problem when in this society black are even terrified to physical defend friends and fanily from physical assualt with video evidience to protect them is charges are pressed.
 
Just wasted too much time looking at his fb profile. Guy sounds like a complete psychopath. Every post is about money and slinging this "morally above all others", clearly fake as hell Christian image. Kind of puke inducing.

Have to admit it has crossed my mind that this kid might be Trump's long lost offspring from one of the girls in the pee tape. I'm assuming such a tape exists, because... Trump.
 
To be fair, he would have been super embarrassed at the Klan meeting he was going to with a brown splotch on his white suit.

I think they feel more enthusiastic to show their true form after Trumps victory, they were under the rocks waiting. But honestly believe it's not Trumps fault , some people just need a little incentive show their dark side.

It's just confirmation bias. People want to blame everything negative on Trump but racism is well and alive pre- and post-Trump
