HOLY FUCKING SHIT!! I saw that movie when I was like 5 years old and it scared the crap out of me! Especially the scenes in the forest when Jan and his friend Dokus (or something like that) were hunting Kludde in the dark forest and you see that blue flame getting closer. OMG the nightmares!!!

It also didn't help that my grandfather would tell me horror stories about "kludde" right before going to bed... :lol

My dad taped that movie so I've seen it a billion times. Digitalised it for my brother who put english subs under it to show to his friends abroad. The animation all-round is very crude and scary. I love the movie now though, so many great lines and so much nostalgia.

My nightmares came from the BFG himself though. In the beginning of the movie when he sneak through the city and comes by children's bedroom windows. I never dared to open my curtains at night in fear of seeing him.

Love the mood of the movie now though, and the scenery is so apocalyptic and barren.
