Don't 3rd party Amiibos have higher print runs (since they tend to be very high profile characters)? From what I've heard those have tended to be the easiest Amiibo to get.

Eh, I don't think it's that for sure. All Smash characters got an amiibo, including all 3rd party characters. Cloud being in Smash and Cloud being an amiibo came hand in hand contractually probably.

They always go with the default. We only got Famicom ROB because it's the default for Japan.
