CM Punk returns to WWE tonight @ Raw?

If you're out of the loop, CM Punk walked out of the WWE a little over a month ago. Tonight's Raw is in Chicago, Illinois, Punk's hometown. The crowd will be atomic hot and Punk chants will be abundant. WWE is said to be worried about the crowd hijacking the show, similar to Daniel Bryan/Yes chants.

Now the big rumor is that Punk returns at tonight's Raw in his hometown. The dirt sheets have been all over this and most think it's a 50/50 chance of happening.

My prediction:
He will return during the opening segment of the show. This will be done to prevent a 'hijacking' of the show. What I mean is, if he returned at the end there will have been 3 hours of restlessness and chanting, which is the last thing WWE wants. They don't want to lose control so they'll have Punk come out early so the crowd blows their load and are calm the rest of the night.

As for what I WANT to happen, I'm not sure. I'm a fan of Punk, who isn't? But I kinda want him to stick it to WWE a while longer, if not forever, for what they've done to Dbry.

What do you think? Will The Best in the World make his return tonight?

Edit: Forgot to mention Aaron Paul is guest hosting tonight.

He returns tonight to make a retirement speech. Good riddance.

It would be stupid for CM punk to sit this one(wrestlemania) out. He's at the top of his game for me. Kinda like Cena, Just needs the right dance partners.

This sounds special. Someone should make an OT for this Raw too.

I don't think he's coming back. He's going to sit back and watch this Raw crack under the weight of people chanting his name.

Pfft, I announced days ago that C.M. PUNK, Former WWE CHAMPION, is in the SAME CITY that WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW is taking place in tonight. Coincidence? I think not!

Man, I love how so many people decided to turn on Punk because he walked out of a company that so many of the same people were also bitching about. I wonder what the internet was like when Austin did the same thing.

I still don't think it's a work... but whatever, what do I know?

It's going to be an interesting night, that's for sure.

So this was all a work? Also I don't see Daniel Bryan happening. If Vince and HHH wanted it to happen, it would've.

Speculation from the dirt sheets (basically just them talking out their ass) is that the walkout was legit at first and then eventually became a work.

Take note that these are the same dirt sheets who were convinced Cena was legit hurt last week but that turned out to be a total work.

And when I say dirt sheets, it's basically just Meltzer. Who else is there really? :lol

I want him back. There's no where else for him to go to be on the same level. TNA is trash.

We're going to have decades of HHH continuing the pecking order, so I don't see Daniel Bryan type treatment ever changing.

Personally, I think Austin was right, Don't job one of your top talents on a no build match, in his own words: "Put that son of a ***** on Pay-per-view!"

It's only 2 hours long.

2 hours a week, that's it.

Vic Venom has all the scoops brah.

He should come back just to announce that he's signed an exclusive contract with TNA.

Nobody would buy it though if he said TNA. If he said he was jumping to NJPW it would feel more legit.

Hell Punk could say he's signed an exclusive deal with NXT and it would seem more convincing than TNA at this point.

Austin was totally right. The face of the company jobbing to an up and comer with no build up what so ever is bad for business. Austin wanted to help everyone make more money.

Whether the DB thing was written as a work or not, it is. Michael Cole's blathering on about DB getting screwed on the mic now.

bleh

Hogan should give him the finger poke of doom.

i don't think it's happening

why would they set up the bryan/hhh match for mania if there was even any REMOTE chance of punk coming back this week

punk/orton/batista would be duuuuuuuuuumb

Jesus, these WWE threads need to take a chill from having topics in OT. :(

CM Punk will probably 100% not be return tonight

If he does return tonight there's no way he appears at the start. They would want people to stay tuned in throughout the entire show. The ruckus crowd would make it more interesting than damaging.

Hoping for Triple H and the New Age Outlaws dressed in military fatigues, cruising the streets of Chicago in an APC, knocking on CM Punk's door, touring Colt Cabana's apartment and Vegan Cupcake shops looking for Punk's whereabouts.

His dance partner would have been HHH, who gets gassed nearly as fast as Rock and Batista do. He'd actually be better off not performing than carrying him.

"Hey Hunter, check out this One Hour Tees place"

I'm calling a triple threat match between Punk, Batista and Orton at Wrestlemania.
Has to be. There's no way Batista/Orton main event Mania now. I guess maybe if they had Taker/Brock as the last match but they've been playing up the title match as the main event.

He'll get a front row seat where the camera can see him, and commentary will try to awkwardly dance around the constant CM Punk chants until he's quietly ejected from the building during a commercial break. Bonus points if he wears an ROH or NJPW shirt.

Honey Boo Boo's only half an hour. Doesn't mean it isn't trash.

Meltzer:
CM Punk is expected to return at Monday’s WWE RAW show in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Dave Meltzer reports that a “top WWE star” told him that Punk returning on Monday is “100 percent certain.”

Jim Ross:
“Obviously, many fans are speculating that CM Punk will be back on RAW Monday night from his hometown in Chicago. Whether Punk is back or not, if I’m WWE I’m embracing the opportunity to produce a three hour show in front of one of the most passionate and enthusiastic audiences in the world.”

John Cena:
Wanna pre thank the Chicago @WWEUniverse tonight for what I think will be a CANT miss #RAW there'll b plenty of audience participation!!

Where there's smoke there's fire?

2 hours is a lot of time when you're a full time student or have a job. Why would I waste them watching mediocrity? Same goes for WWE these days.

The internet is all everyone needs these days. You can FF all the filler crap, and watch a show in less than 45 minutes.
