I gotta say, the interface looks fantastic! A very nice departure from the mess of Tom Clancy games and previous CoD titles...

That's weird, under "grenades" they have Flash, Smoke, and Stun, but no Frag.

Edit: They're definitely in the game though because there is a specific button for frags.

What? It looks like the CoD2 interface with a new colour scheme.

Anyway, I signed up on the site a few weeks ago and they don't seem to ever send any e-mails when anything interesting like this gets put on the site, so I think I'll probably miss out.
 
Assault or Sniper for me, though I hope you can just use whatever weapon you want to use =P, at least on some other modes.

EDIT: AND GUYS, WHERE IS THE FREAKING TRIVIA! I CANT FIND IT!

Man every time i see those perks....

I'm the type of guy that can be turned off quickly by bad balance.

Perks have always been in class-based games, it's just in CoD4 IW are making the perks public.
 
BTW anyone knows the answer for the trivia, I can't find it =P.

And yes Sol... bad balance can screw up the game, but IW can pull it out, they are FPS gods. I trust them... heck I still play CoD2 Multi every 2 days or so, though I never got to buy CoD3, everyone said it sucked =P

Thought I was the only moron. I cant find it either. I think this would make three completed trivia questions if I get it.
 
With the ability to shoot through walls/ceilings/floors, I can guarantee that on day one 90% of the people in the Beta will be Heavy Gunners. :lol

As for me, Spec Ops ftw. <3 MP5.

This is so confusing. Double tap? What? I can't find it either. All I see is "enter now!" followed by "coming soon..." when I scroll over it. WTF? Is it open yet? Or not so much?

The trivia's on the Home page, under the poll on the lower right.

You can't sign up for the Beta at the moment.

Took me forever to find and I was completely confused too. Go to the home page and look at the bottom right.

wait... is the trivia on the mainpage the same trivia you have to answer to get into the beta, or do we have to answer three more when we sign up?

The trivia question up right now is simply the bi-weekly Trivia question.

There will be three questions to answer for the beta token itself, to help avoid corruption of the process.
 
I'm curious to know how many members are on charlieoscardelta.com. If we knew that, we'd get a pretty good idea if we're in or not, right?

To be eligible for a token-you must be 18 years of age or older, punctual and capable of answering three trivia questions correctly. Yes, punctual. To be fair, we're doling out the tokens on a first come first serve basis.

But I guess we dont have a number yet for how many get in as well.

Perks are how your custom class stands apart from the crowd. There might be a lot of people out there with the M21, but do they have it backed up by Stopping Power and Deep Impact?

There are three Perk groups, listed below. Note you can only select one Perk from each category in building your Create a Class. In the screenshot, our player has chosen Bomb Squad for his Perk 1 category, Stopping Power for Perk 2, and Deep Impact for Perk 3.

Remember, some weapon and attachment settings will limit your ability to equip certain Perks. For example, the Grenade Launcher attachment will fill your Perk 1 slot, meaning you will only get two active perks.

Check out the Beta's Perks and what category they fall under by clicking on the buttons below. And don't forget, for the Beta we picked a bunch of our favorite Perks for you to give us feedback on - you'll have many more Perks to choose from in the full-game.

i saw some trailer the other day with players using c4 like grenades and a machine gun with absolutely no recoil.

most arcade-y war game that i've ever seen.

I hope that grenade launcher attachment isn't as lame as I could see it being in MP matches...

Also, fix the damn sniper, I remember in CoD2 you could run around without zooming in and one shot people easier than shooting the other guns. :lol
