Interesting. Much like McConaughey I used to dislike Colin Farrell but in recent years I have turned into an ardent fan. Miami Vice, Fright Night and In Bruges are probably my favorite movies of his. Still need to see The Way Back.

Between the New World, Miami Vice and In Bruges he was in some of the best movies of the decade so it's hard to hate him imo

In for Taylor Kitsch. Was just talking about this in another thread but I really liked John Carter and thought he unfairly got a bad rep because of JC and Battleship bombing pretty much one after the other. He was great in Savages and really really good in The Normal Heart. I think the guy has some serious chops and just needs to be given the right material.

Ahh yes, HBO's seemingly required quota of naked ass in damn every one of their series. I understand that its tradition by now or something, but I wish they would let that shit go. Its usually forced and unnecessary anyway. These guys over the decades have commanded some of the best programming of all time, why in the hell would they bother with shit like that. Im not convinced that nudity is gaining them so many viewers of these serialized television shows that it would actually lower the overall ratings if they just silently stopped that nonsense.

As for Colin Farrell, i have mixed feelings. He can be quite impressive but most of the time he acts like a rented poster boy. I'm sure this show would bring out the best in him though
