College Football 2010 Week 1: Destiny Unmanifested

What channel is Wake Forest on? I quickly flipped through the listings and didn't see it.

I seem to have the SCAR game, the Minnesota game, and the Iowa State game. Followed by USC later tonight.

One of my roommates made the trip to SC for the game today... the rest of us are going to be drunk as hell in about an hour and a half to watch.

He'll be in the crowd, shirtless, wearing jean shorts and a pork pie hat, basically looking sexier than any man should.

I have not paid a lot of attention during the off season, and I am a bit worried with Fisher taking over and the terrible defense we had last year. But I'm hopeful that with Ponder at the helm we can just outscore our opponents.

I was really hoping to make it to a game this year, but I don't think it'll be possible at this point. Do you go to any games?

No games for me sadly since I am still up in Chicago. If I do move to Austin it might seem more palatable (no car any more).

I expect great things from Fisher. One of the most important things about his taking over was the hires across the board for assistants. Hell, Greg Hudson took our LB coach position over the UF DC position (turned it down twice).

I would have liked a bigger splash at DE but we needed a younger guy to prevent too many cooks in the kitchen IMO. Elliott has been getting high praise since he came -- I think he'll be a nice hire in the end.

Vic Viloria and the nutritionist that was brought on board have turned our guys into machines --- the difference in size is immediately noticeable.

Phone lines in my building are down today and tomorrow so no DSL for me. Sucks!

Anyone know how i can watch the canes/FAMU game? I neeeeed to watch this..

This Wake Forest game is dull, I think I'm gonna run to the store and get food for dinner.

Hope one of the 5 o clock games is more interesting.

Seriously Carolina? Empty seats and an 'empty suit' team...

Hope this is just rust falling off because it sure isn't impressive.
 
Too bad SCar couldn't have started the year off at home to help their O-line shake some of these jitters.
 
Judging by the great job of recruiting that the new Rutgers b-ball coach is doing vs. the previous coach who was viewed as a recruiting dynamo but bad coach, I can't wait till another "recruiting dynamo but bad coach" in Schiano leaves.

Maybe, we'll get some better recruits, and a coach who can actually... adjust in-game.

Man, Schiano's defense is getting destroyed by a D-1AA team. The offense is getting stalled.

2 deepest spots on the team: dline and rb. Still, isn't good to be without the heisman winner and the bcs championship game MVP.
 
Apparently Saban said on his radio show that we're appealing the second game. Personally, I think we should wait until next Friday to appeal the second game. Play him against PSU and then, if we lose the appeal, sit him against Duke. Bwahaha.

In other amusing news, Raymond Cotton transferred from Ole Miss to South Alabama and dropped from second on the depth chart to third. I wonder what this says about Ole Miss' QB situation? :lol

You may regret that....when I play NCAA Football 11. Real life....not so much.
