Wouldnt a FSU/A&M be a preferable combo than A&M/Missouri? It means that Auburn and Alabama can stay in the West.
No. I'm confident that we're stuck with TAMU, but neither Missouri nor FSU are preferred additions to the SEC in my opinion.

Nah that's fine. Just the troll face is all.

Also no way mre. Real time spectating is so needed. I hate having to read shitty generated stories after every week.

Who is? I dont know, I think FSU can fit. I have accepted the fact that SEC will eventually be 16 and am just hopeful for 16 SEC "like" teams. Like A&M, FSU, Virginia Tech, and Clemson would seem to be a good combo.

Edit: I just want to avoid teams like West Virginia or NC State which I just think will be terrible fits.

Ideally, I'd love to have OU/OSU/Undetermined, but I know that's not happening. Next up in my mind would be Va. Tech and stop there.

Of course, this isn't taking into consideration the monetary aspects of expansion. Any team we add needs to add sufficient value to pay for themselves.

mre - I think the SEC should add Rutgers, UConn, and Syracuse to sew up the New York market.

Thoughts?
Ooo, sorry, man. Those schools, especially Rutgers, lack the academic prestige that we're looking for in our new candidates. The SEC has a certain academic reputation to maintain, and we just can't lower our standards to accept any of those schools. In a couple years, if they can turn things around, then maybe we can talk.

I see. I understand. After all, the SEC has 11 schools that are the Harvard's of their respective state. That's tough to beat.

Improper use of apostrophe detected.

SEC Admission: DENIED

BTW's it cracks me up that academic prestige is such a big thing these days... I mean neither UofA nor ASU were great schools in 1978 (especially ASU, we had only been a university for 28 years at that point). Yet, now, you must be a great grad school and a Carnegie research 1 uni to be considered by the Pac10/12. BTW's ASU meets that without a med school, mostly... 30+ years later... lol. suck it BYU!!!

Actually, this statement is not factually correct. There are various SEC schools located in states where there are other institutions considered to be more prestigious. For example, Tulane has a reputation as the best university in Louisiana. To say otherwise, would be inaccurate.

However, LSU is the Harvard of Louisiana.

Tulane can lay claim to being the Amherst of Louisiana.

But I think Vandy would call themselves the Vandy of Tennessee.

You have clearly never heard of Austin Peay.
I think CUNT should be the Harvard of Tennessee, just because that would make an awesome t-shirt.

Sirpopopop said:
Oh shoot.

I bow my head in shame.

As you can see - I'm just a National Merit Scholar who went to Oklahoma University.
They sure do put a lot of emphasis on that stat. Did you really go to OU?

jjasper said:
I had to look that up. I just failed 4 tier Universities in Tennessee history:(
I've been a fan ever since I saw a guy wearing a CUNT hat when I was 13. The brazenness of the University is admirable, to be honest.

Look how awful FSU's secondary tried to tackle OU WRs last season

:lol
Horrendous tackling technique. Just awful form there. ugh

Urban Meyer calling the Auburn/Clemson game???

I mean, it's not like there's anything going on with Florida this weekend. So, not surprised he wants to spend time with 8Ball the Tiger.

His eyes... can't stop staring.

Clemson should totally put those eyes on the top of their helmets. Their opponents would be transfixed and powerless to stop them!

CBS already picked up the Ark-Bama game. I'm looking forward to learning more from Verne's encyclopedic knowledge of football......"is it an incomplete pass?"

It's like they found some Shagadelic Coasters from the 70's, and used them as the Eyes.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends. And that goes double for you, Rolando McCain.

No - Drinky Crow did. I learned the importance of that stat from him.
Three things you're guaranteed to see in an OU commercial:

1) We lead the nation in National Merit Scholars!!!* **

*per capita
**among public universities

2) Look at this pretty art collection we got!

3) Look at our rustic campus that looks *kinda* like an Ivy League campus, besides the fact that it was built in the 20th century!

I went to OU and I absolutely hate when I hear the NMS stat thrown around. It's fairly lame IMO.
They get NMS students because they do everything short of fellating them (and I'm sure Boren has done that on occasion). It's a terrible stat to use to prove academic quality, but it goes right along with Boren's strategy of building the perception that OU is the Harvard of the southern plains.

RB - Brent Prichardson
RB - Beddie Casey
OT - JD Booker
C - Villian Nachos
QB - Lake Sins
OT - Beretta Jones
OT - Sirius Quad Joe
DB - Patrick Kirkdrey

But Clemson would still have the power to stop themselves, and therein lies the problem.

Solution: Hypnosis, or make the helmets green and the eyes red, and only recruit the best colorblind players in the nation.

I unfortunately agree with you on all those points. I particularly despise the commercial with the football player holding the ballerina.

I didn't watch the game last year, no damn wonder OU rolled them. That's maybe the worst individual display of DB play I've ever seen.

But you see, according to all the hype, FSU now has another year under Mark Stoops' defense. The Defense is going to play so much better in just 1 season.

LOLOL I had literally typed up a little thing about that stupid picture of the player holding up the ballerina that is in the union. Then I thought "Ah fuck it no one will know what Im talking about."
