I hope FSU continues to stay happy in the ACC.
Wouldnt a FSU/A&M be a preferable combo than A&M/Missouri? It means that way Auburn and Alabama can stay in the West.

Worst fix ever. Playing as a team of giraffes would be infinitely more entertaining than watching replays.Maddness said:Fixed.
No. I'm confident that we're stuck with TAMU, but neither Missouri nor FSU are preferred additions to the SEC in my opinion.NewLib said:Wouldnt a FSU/A&M be a preferable combo than A&M/Missouri? It means that Auburn and Alabama can stay in the West.

Ideally, I'd love to have OU/OSU/Undetermined, but I know that's not happening. Next up in my mind would be Va. Tech and stop there.NewLib said:Who is? I dont know, I think FSU can fit. I have accepted the fact that SEC will eventually be 16 and am just hopeful for 16 SEC "like" teams. Like A&M, FSU, Virginia Tech, and Clemson would seem to be a good combo.
Ooo, sorry, man. Those schools, especially Rutgers, lack the academic prestige that we're looking for in our new candidates. The SEC has a certain academic reputation to maintain, and we just can't lower our standards to accept any of those schools. In a couple years, if they can turn things around, then maybe we can talk.Sirpopopop said:mre - I think the SEC should add Rutgers, UConn, and Syracuse to sew up the New York market.
Thoughts?

Improper use of apostrophe detected.Sirpopopop said:I see. I understand. After all, the SEC has 11 schools that are the Harvard's of their respective state. That's tough to beat.

SEC Admission: DENIED
vas_a_morir said:Actually, this statement is not factually correct. There are various SEC schools located in states where there are other institutions considered to be more prestigious. For example, Tulane has a reputation as the best university in Louisiana. To say otherwise, would be inaccurate.
Sirpopopop said:However, LSU is the Harvard of Louisiana.
Tulane can lay claim to being the Amherst of Louisiana.

As an FSU fan, I do too.mre said:God dammit: http://www.mrsec.com/2011/09/fsu-forms-expansion-committee/

I think CUNT should be the Harvard of Tennessee, just because that would make an awesome t-shirt.jjasper said:But I think Vandy would call themselves the Vandy of Tennessee.
You have clearly never heard of Austin Peay.
They sure do put a lot of emphasis on that stat. Did you really go to OU?Sirpopopop said:Oh shoot.
I bow my head in shame.
As you can see - I'm just a National Merit Scholar who went to Oklahoma University.

I've been a fan ever since I saw a guy wearing a CUNT hat when I was 13. The brazenness of the University is admirable, to be honest.jjasper said:I had to look that up. I just failed 4 tier Universities in Tennessee history![]()

I mean, it's not like there's anything going on with Florida this weekend. So, not surprised he wants to spend time with 8Ball the Tiger.

They get NMS students because they do everything short of fellating them (and I'm sure Boren has done that on occasion). It's a terrible stat to use to prove academic quality, but it goes right along with Boren's strategy of building the perception that OU is the Harvard of the southern plains.Mystagogue said:I went to OU and I absolutely hate when I hear the NMS stat thrown around. It's fairly lame IMO.
Lonestar said:It's like they found some Shagadelic Coasters from the 70's, and used them as the Eyes.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends. And that goes double for you, Rolando McCain.
I didn't watch the game last year, no damn wonder OU rolled them. That's maybe the worst individual display of DB play I've ever seen.LosDaddie said:

Clemson should totally put those eyes on the top of their helmets. Their opponents would be transfixed and powerless to stop them!
Jeff-DSA said:But Clemson would still have the power to stop themselves, and therein lies the problem.

1) We lead the nation in National Merit Scholars!!!* **

2) Look at this pretty art collection we got!
3) Look at our rustic campus that looks *kinda* like an Ivy League campus, besides the fact that it was built in the 20th century!
