Of those...yeah, VT is the easiest. Then I figure Maryland. Doubtful that "Tobacco Road" will budge.
It took a lot for Virginia Tech to get into the ACC and there will probably be political pressure to keep them from splitting from UVA. Plus their AD has said that they would politely decline an invite to the SEC. I'm not sure they would be that easy to get.

Cuse hasn't been a good since McNabb. I think as long as WVU is in the Big East it will still be around. Our AD is basically the shadow commissioner.

Burned too many Couches, I see....

And I said Easiest. Not Easy.

While all true, from what i remember when he said that i believe he mentioned that we would stay as long as the ACC remained intact. Basically we wouldn't be the first team out. Also while the AD's input is probably taken into consideration, the final decision still falls to the pres./board.

It's actually warmer back in Seattle.

Ahahah yup. Was so jealous of Seattle being 20 degrees colder than us here in Omaha, now it's 20 degrees warmer (almost).

Hope you're enjoying the state while you're here.

Weird weather here as well. It went from being near 90 on Thursday to a high of 51 yesterday.

I submit that Washington is clearly cheating and adjusting the temps downwards to simulate their home climate for an in-game advantage, while the Nebraska players will be tired from running around and turning all the thermostats to 'Heat'.

If they have that ability they should be back here and making it stay summer instead of playing a football game :p

They should adjust it up about 15 degrees and we'll be set until winter starts in October.

I just woke up. Seeing block N and W repeating tripped me out for a second.

Anyway, GO GREEN! GO WHITE! GO STATE!

Cannot wait for tonight. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I have so many friends who have gone up to Tallahassee for this, I cant imagine the atmosphere today. GO NOLES!

All I have to say about the new conference rumors:

THE MAC WILL DEFAULT THEMSELVES INTO THE NEW YORK CITY MARKET WHEN THEY GET RUTGERS AND UCONN.

Boo yah. MAC FOOTBALL - THEY OWN PHILLY & NEW YORK.

I eagerly look forward to the MAC football network.

This is my 14th time in Nebraska over the last 8 years and my 4th game at Memorial Stadium. Always a nice time, though. Can't wait for football and a Runza.

I've come to the conclusion that I hope Rutgers goes independent rather than play football in the MAC/CUSA.

The Big East can still be our home for the non-AQ sports.

A lot of great looking games today.
Tejas v UCLA
Tenn. v GATA
OU vs FSU

Kansas vs GTech - and I'm going to be able to watch it on the motherfucking picture box! Fuck having to listen to the games over radio

Anxious times for the Big 12. League could see A&M, Texas, OU and Oklahoma St. exit. But Big 12 also could approach other Big East schools.
The NCAA needs some regulations as to how long a conference can officially be called "Big."

The conference stuff is becoming harder to track than ever before, and geographic location is apparently going even further out the window than we originally thought. What a weird time in college athletics.

It's kind of weird that as of right now, the SEC might not be scoring many of the big "gets" that are currently out there. But who knows what could be playing out behind closed doors; I guess we will see in the next two or three weeks...

Hmm, how should ifeel about this? We could probably do better in the Big East...
If I were you, I'd just be happy that the Big East is not the MAC.

And yes, you would certainly be more competitive there than in the Big 12.

Joe pa doesn't know how to open the window, so we can't tell if he's actually in there. Probably for the best, as he's in the middle of a nap.

Anyone else hear Fowler on gameday. Saying if Ohio State losses today theyll drop out of the rankings. I usually like Fowler but are you serious, drop 10 spots for a loss on the road to a decent team.

Good news: Central Michigan looks awful, so MSU should have an easy time next week

Bad news: Western Michigan just scored again.

Eastern Michigan got the ball to the 1 and couldnt get it in on 4 tries against Michigan's defense lol.

They're always awful. Still don't know why they built a university in the town just east of Ann Arbor.

I should say almost always. I think they were good decades ago or something, but still, awful now.

Oh I know theyre bad, but if you can get it in from the 1 on 4 tries against UM's defense youre really bad.

It's still early. Plenty of time for them to come back. Although, I did fucking love that catch.
Clemson's safety is a bum.

On the other hand, Reed for AU has no football IQ.

Pierce needs to graduate or go to nfl soon. If he didnt leave early last they probably would have won that game and it seems we'll need that happen this year if we want to win.
