That Batman Logo is fucking dreadful but goddamn if I'm not hyped. Hope he tries to improve on Man of Steel cos while that movie wasn't bad it had lots of room for improvement.

It's certainly an improvement over the one DC used for it's Batman/Superman comic in the mid-00's.

What type of Batman will we get?

Man of Steel demands a Nolan-esque Batman - but with Bale so recent and firmly in the memory, i'm guessing they will want to set the new Batman apart.

It would be great if it is loosely based on The Dark Knight Returns, in a way that Batman acts as the villain for the first 3 quarters of the movie.

Which ends with both of them working together to stop Lex Luthor, and settling their differences.

Yeah, I'd watch that.

Bale's Wayne/Batman was bland IMO, hoping they do one a lot more energetic, interesting, and charismatic.

A dark and gritty Batman but not quite as realistic as Nolan's I'd guess.

I haven't read it but how in the world can batman be the villain when superman could kill him by looking at him

Also I can't believe Snyder has basically become the biggest director in hollywood so fast

Would be perfect set-up for a JLA movie too, both of them wanting to bring more people into the fold.

Will one of the plot points be what happens to the millions of people who have to evacuate Gotham City for fear of
Superman destroying every god damn building in town?

Zach Synder fucking sucks.

Zack Snyder makes sense regardless of what critics or gaf think, he made Superman relevant to modern audiences, MoS was really successful. Not him at this point would've been stupid.

Goyer on the other hand, I dunno...

Am I the only one that likes that logo?

Also would't this be more of a team up movie with a moral battle between the two than a Batman vs Supes flick?

Not a fan of the logo, but goddamn it's great to finally have this happening. Also, loosely based on TDK Returns? Hell yes.

The script was god awful

Don't misunderstand. I think there were legitimate reasons for someone to dislike the movie, but there were some people that obviously went in wanting to hate it, and came up with incredibly stupid reasons that made it seem like they've never read a Superman comic or watched a movie in their life.

Why does WB like Goyer so much? Obviously he knows his comic book shit but at best he's been a mediocre screenwriter. Why don't they just search for someone else?

Snyder, Goyer and a way too soon Batman reboot. ... The fact they didn't rush into JL shows WB has somewhat of the right idea, I'll try to say open minded.

It's a crossover movie so I'm not expecting much in terms of story. Hopefully it will just have cool moments. Should use it as an opportunity to introduce other characters like Nightwing and maybe Supergirl.

the people who had issues with the Avengers power set on screen are going to have a harder time dealing with this.

They're probably gonna make batman a mix between captain America and iron man in here so it will be fine

I always thought this team up alone was far more exciting than the avengers but the writer for this has me worried

But this is the perfect way to 'reboot' Batman, IMO. Much better than doing a solo film just to reboot the character.

This seems like a great way to lead in to a Justice League movie, especially if they can get Flash and Wonder Woman movies off of the ground. I'd kill to see Martian Manhunter on the big screen too.
