Comic Con: Superman/Batman Movie Confirmed

Great news. The fans have been screaming at WB to do this before trying Justice League. I'm really hyped to see a new batman.... PLEASE less "movie batman" and more "comic batman".

Love the fat bat symbol in that logo too.

No if anything gets below 70 on critics, it is critically panned since you know WB probably paid off half those critics.

Paid off half the critics? LOL unreal. Did WB's also pay off all the movie going public including myself that enjoyed it... cause I'd like some free money.

"I did edit it, I indeed misused bomba."

Okay, glad I'm not imagining shit lol

We have absolutely no plot details, no idea of how the story is going to go, and yet you already have the Sahara Desert in your vagina over it. Let shit play out first.

My vagina has been itchy due to all the sand WB shoveled in their with having Luthor be in almost every goddamn Superman movie

It's unnecessary

As much as I love The Joker in Batman, if he was in almost 75% of all the films, it would get tiring and boring

Just asking they freshen this shit up

Have so many villains at their disposal, yet keep going back to the same one over and over gets tiring

I have never read the comics. How it is possible for Batman to even hurt Superman especially with a punch?
They toned down his resistance to damage in Man of Steel so a lot of explosives could weaken and slow him down. Chuck in some Kryptonian wreckage, possibly a Kryptonite engine core, and voila you have everything you need.

Sorry, was going by couple weeks ago. But still did you read the budget and publicity budget?

And anything below 70 is failing.

Nope. It's the biggest Superhero origin movie apart from Spiderman. It's bigger than Ironman, Batman Begins, Ironman 2, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk etc. Currently the only bigger superhero movies than MoS are he Spiderman films, TDK, TDKR, The Avengers and Ironman 3.

This is despite this being a reboot of a long dormant franchise. Oh and it's actually second biggest reboot of all time, only behind ASM.

The movie made a shit-ton of money in product placement and promotion. The figure you think was for marketing, the oft cited 170 million, was actually spend by companies outside WB to promote the movie and coincidently their own products with it. This was free advertising for MoS, in fact WB probably got paid a bit for it. Bond movies do a similar thing.

I guess WB is getting desperate to have a good Superman movie. But this will probably just tarnish Batman's legacy.

Tarnish Batman's Legacy? His legacy survived Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.

I just hope Snyder has the sense to use THE REAL Batman aka the keaton version instead of the Bale cookie monster voiced version.

Nah bro, literally everyone will hate Batman after this movie. My dad works for WB and showed me the finished film and it is that bad.

lol

Miller Batman has many versions.

I'm fine with his work as a basis, but for the love of God, please ignore All-Star Batman

He probably wants a Batman that can move.

No stating a known fact that critics get paid off.

To say otherwise is wrong.

Also MoS had a massive budget so the profit is nowhere near the other movies.

Has he seen the Wonder Woman movie too? Is she wearing pants or short shorts? Everyone who doesn't care about Wonder Woman has to know!

lol

What's sad is that you believe your own bs.

purely anecdotal but man of steel got the same lukewarm reactions from people i talked to that captain america and thor got (and i thought those films were shit)

just a lot of "eh...it was alright" despite it being a reaction to a film where superman is goku punching the fuck out of people into space

spectacle isn't everything. i think they really dropped the ball on the script for man of steel. in fact it's really hard to tell if cavill sucks or not because i don't even think we can accurately judge his performance in the film. it felt like he was given nothing.

they really need outside perspective on the next script.

Budget was $225m, so far the profits at $621m not counting the $170m they made in endorsements. You were saying what again...

As long as she isn't wearing heels, or that plastic like costume from the pilot, she'll be fine.

After how amazing Man of Steel was, I feel confident in hyping this movie up to the motherfucking stratosphere! So hyped. Gonna be amazing no doubt. Snyder got Superman right. Well see how he handles his version of Batman. I have all the confidence in the world he'll pull this off. Oh and by the way I don't want Bale back. I liked him, but it's time for a fresh start.

Also come on the first movie Lex that's actually good!
Gene Hackman is the worst Lex I've ever seen in any form of media of Superman. He made Spacey look good. A complete joke.

My dad was actually the one working on the WW film. No pants at all, no top either. Invisible armor to go along with the invisible jet. It made the movie watchable IMO.

While it will include some lines and visuals from DKR it's not going to be a literal adaption just like how MOS isn't an adaption of Birthright or Bryne's Man of Steel. In fact I hope the fighting doesn't take up the whole movie. It will probably be more like this:

I think you guys are reading too much into the idea of it being based on TDKR. Nolan's movies were inspired by Year One and Sale/Loeb's Batman stuff, but they weren't shot for shot or cribbing the story. Hell, Burton's Batman was originally heavily inspided by Year one and Dark Knight Returns. I don't think that means we will necessarily see an old Batman or anything like that.

Fuck, people are overreacting on the logo and I'm not entirely sure that's final artwork yet.
