I forgot to head to my comic shop this Friday. They had better deals in the morning right after opening and right before closing and I forgot by evening.

But FF 600 was amazing. Ever since I started picking up the monthlies I haven't really been reading new graphic novels and it was so good reading a new story that lasted so long. Didn't really care for the final little story with Franklin and Leech because it felt like a little fun story instead of a story story if that makes any sense. I am ready for the Inhumans and the Kree stuff to end though. The only time I had ever read a story with Black Bolt before this was the New Illuminati issue before The Civil War. Had to do a lot of Wiki reading when they were first brought in and then another big dose of Wiki reading after those two issues of FF all about the Kree. I still don't really understand them.

Tiny Titans is a cool little book with tons of fun references and such that go way over the head of the target audience. There was even an issue that taught kids how to do the Batusi!

Slow week for me. Gonna grab X-Mangs Legacy but not much else. It's actually kinda nice because it gives me time to catch up on books I've bought but haven't read. Looking forward to finishing Mystic and finally cracking open League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1969.

I really can't see it being a good read tbh. I love my iPad but I wish it was bigger for reading comics. Some books you can read with no zoom at all, but some books you need to zoom a little to read the text. On a 7" tablet you'd need to zoom and scroll on every single page. It's a dumb idea.

It must be a five week month since DC are releasing barely anything at all other than some 100 page DC Presents books (including part two of Secret Identity). Very light week for me, can't wait for next week with the week one goodness back again.

Just caught up on FF/Fantastic Four after being about 4 issues behind. I really liked all of the Blackbolt/Inhumans stuff, even if some of the stuff could have been condensed a little. I also like that Hickman actually reads/makes use of what other writers are doing and have done recently with the periphery characters of the FF universe.

I picked up TMNT #4. Still no Ghostbusters #3. I don't know what the problem is, as all of IDW's other stuff has been coming in fine.

Ghostbusters was really hard for me to get at my LCS.

So far have read TMNT, Legion, Daredevil and FF. Daredevil continues to be really well stylized and I wish TMNT would improve a bit in the art department.

Just read Batman: The Black Mirror because I'm dumb and decided to not be asleep right now. So good- makes me kind of sad that he's gone back to being nightwing. They really should've done a setup with bruce affiliating with batman Inc and the justice league and such with dick as the full-time gotham batman.

Also, the first week of the month is the best week for DCnU and it hurts so bad to have to wait an extra week.

* Zatanna: Vol 2

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Batgirl included 10 issues and completed the whole run. I thought we might have to wait for a fourth volume well into 2012. The Zatanna collection also completed the run. That's not how either one was solicited, so that was cool.

I'm also nearing the end of the Kamandi volume and holy shit did that live up to the hype! I'm loving that to death, and I'm desperate to read more Jack Kirby stuff now. Looking forward to diving into the New Gods stuff sooner rather than later.
