Coming to PS4 in 2017 trailer

nioh was always listed as console exclusive if I remember correctly, unless something changed, they fucked up anyway with several games so who knows lol

Nioh is all over the place, it's being called Console Exclusive here and just PS4 Exclusive there, it's confusing as hell.

So Detroit and Dreams are 2017! Nice

Well they better be considering the time they got to develop those games. I can't even imagine how expensive Detroid will be for Sony. QD is a 170 person studio according to wiki with 4 years development time at least.

Things changed late last year when Sony became the publisher of the game in the west. This is from the US PS site

Which really highlights how poor the whole exclusivity-type messaging is from Sony.

It's such a pity that they've become so inconsistent and unclear on this since the heights of Gamescom 2014, where Jim Ryan very clearly states what games are permanent exclusives and what ain't after revealing them.

Will definitely buy:

- Nex Machina
- Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
- Detroit
- Horizon: Zero Dawn
- Nier Automata

On my radar:

- Matterfall
- Nioh

So Nioh and Persona 5 PC versions confirmed? ;)

They should really make sure these fucking labels are consistent.

Only On PlayStation®

The video is all kinds of messed up with some tags, as evidence by NieR.

Edit: Beaten.

Even that isn't saying much anymore, look up the box for Helldivers.

Such things irritate me honestly, I just want to know for games if they are a lifetime exclusive or not. And I think most people with me. I have a PS4, I gladly play the PS4 exclusives on it, but not knowing if a game is a full exclusive, timed exclusive, platform exclusive, ps4 console exclusive and whatnot is very anti-consumer and I really dislike it.

For further confusion technically Gio did actually call it a PlayStation exclusive at PSX.

If there's one thing to give praise to MS over Sony, after the Tomb Raider fiasco they've been much clearer with their exclusivity messaging.

On the other hand, Sony fumbles up where their stage people will say "X" but on screen there's a different tag that say "Y" instead, like two year's ago's PSX where I recall someone saying the word "exclusive" even though the big screen listed there "First on PlayStation" instead.

Really hope they'll learn and improve on this sooner than later.

Nioh was "console exclusive" at PSX 2015, to date the only event with consistent exclusive naming conventions.
It's definitely exclusive for a while anyway.
It’s not long until Nioh hits shelves next year and to say we are excited is an understatement! Bringing it to you has taken some work, but we’re happy to announce that Nioh will now be published in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment across Europe, America and Asia (excluding Japan).

I had hoped, and still am optimistic that one of the E3 2016's Fantastic Four would make it this year.

God of War, Days Gone, Spidey and Death Stranding.

Still fingers crossed for God of War.

No. And they haven't even had any tricky games where they'd be put to the test on again. You're giving them credit way too soon. Especially with their purposefully misleading ad campaigns about the Slim in relation to 4K and HDR.

The only game I am really interested in is Uncharted: The Lost Legeacy.
There really isn't a game where I think: "I need that" (I am not only talking about exklusives. Same goes for 3rd Party titles).

2017 will probably the "1-game-year". Looking forward to 2018 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They really should stop with these watermarks. Especially concerning Japanese games, everyone know they don't release on Xbox One, it's pointless.

No one cares about the watermarks, period. It's not like someone is going to go see the box on a shelf and not buy the game they wanted to buy just because it says "Console Exclusive." Just like they aren't going to buy a game they didn't want just because it says, "Only on Playstation."

Man, like seven of those are definites and that's not even including the two KH releases, FFXII, NNK2, and more...

Ouch my wallet.
