Oh man...And I promised my girlfriend I wouldn't buy anymore games for a while...:(

Why in the lordÂ’s name would you promise such a thing!!!?!?!

Oh and is this shit better get to stepin' on its way over to Europe!

Because I bought 30ish games in the past month and cash it a little tight right now. Normally I wouldn't do that but I had a choice...Stop buying games for a while or go without sex for an even longer while...

Checking it out right now, but supposedly no multiplayer in C&C or RA!
And no FMV anymore. All removed. To make it fit on the single DVD.

So far:
C&C no multi
Red Alert works in Skirmish
Red Alert 2 needs Westwood chat.

These might work with the GameSpy client.

NEEDS to run in 640x480. Tought shit if your monitor is an LCD that won't support it.

Bah, I knew it was too good to be true.

Couldnt they spread out the games on the 2 discs instead? No FMV and no multiplayer? Why did they remove the multiplayer? :I

i can only dream of a ra2 gaf skrimish.

westwood online fucking ruined that game for me. maybe it'll play better with gamespy arcade.

I haven't played C&C since the Sega Saturn days. I didn't know the game was that popular. Looks like I'll be hunting this down in the near future.

I edited my post to combine most of what I read in the SA:Games thread.
There's lots of misinformation and overexcited people. (Understandable)
But basically what I say earlier in the thread should be the final stuff.

So do you think they could release a patch in the near future that would fix all this shit up?

...

C&C is the best PC RTS series. Second only to TOTAL ANNIHILATION!

I literally had my jacket on and was about to buy this until I saw "no FMVs". WTF, that's completly and utterly inexcusable. I remember when I got my ultra powerful Pentium 166 and played Red Alert on it, those corny FMVs were awesome. I can't believe they're be so cheap and remove something as important as THE STORY (text sucks).

Edit:

Bonus DVD with commemorative video features including exclusive interviews and tribute videos from our biggest fans!

Damn saps. How can they include shit that's fanmade and not all the fmvs for the games.

If needing Gamespy Arcade is the only thing "wrong" with this version of RA2, I'm there.

Read, the FMVs are there...they just fucked up the programming.

It still sucks though. They need a patch.

Well, that hasn't been confirmed yet. I don't know who will want to try.
GSA worked by simulating networking on a lot of games.
