Everything about the production value seems cheap. I guess they got their budget cut.
Yup, at Community-Con the writers basically confirmed Sony wouldn't let them have any outside shots, they could only have a limited amount of extras in certain scenes, and all around they weren't allowed to do a lot of stuff.
I didn't laugh out loud once at this week's episode. Thought it was worse than last week's. I used to swear by this show during seasons 1-2, and sort of during 3. I dunno what's going on anymore.
Abed's "I remember when this show used to be about community college." line = Yeah, man. Me too.
I really liked this week's episode. Gonna rewatch it pretty soon!
This week definitely felt less forced. There is still something missing, but it was a step up from last weeks.
Got to finally watch it (cable cut out after the first few minutes). Really enjoyed it. It was cool seeing Gilbert again.
Is it just me, or is Pierce's house a redecorated Greendale set? It doesn't feel like a house at all (maybe that's the point?) and it looked cheap as hell. Sitcom cheap (as explained by Mariolee regarding the budget).
Everything with Community is the redecorated Greendale set. The Season 3 DVD covered a lot, and it was kinda fun to see what was redecorated from what (as in, most of it was the biology set; the bigger pieces, like the carnival was actually the cafeteria)Got to finally watch it (cable cut out after the first few minutes). It stills feels eerily like the first season to me but less witty, sharp and cheaper.
Oh well, its still entertaining and only a short amount of eps left. There will be emotions.

The first season? I feel like they've amped up the wacky hijinks from later seasons to being the only thing left.
It's a thing all sitcoms do after a while. The character traits get cranked up to 11 until there's not even a person left.
Sure feels accelerated though =\
Yeah, definitely. I just don't really see any S1 at all in this.
I'm surprised we haven't seen a gif of Annie crawling along the floor, Ring style.
Tomorrow. When will we know about the ratings for this week's episode?
Yes. They've even talked about it in the commentary for some of the season 1 episodes.I didn't like how they made Troy extra stupid. I mean...did they forget he was a jock when the show started?

I think he meant that considering Troy was a star athlete in high school, it's a little unbelievable that he's so completely oblivious to sex.Yeah, because it wasn't as funny. He was still pretty ignorant back then too, he's just opened up. I mean, I bet if you look at the last four years of your life from college you'd find yourself being a slightly different person as well.

Exactly
