Tl;dr version

-confirms why Greg Wilmont originally left the show, and how recently Greg has requested all videos with his likelness be removed from the channel

-will remove all 120 episodes + other videos with Greg in it September 1st, says its okay to download and reupload them to pirate bay or the like but not to youtube

-plans to recomplete/remake the first 120 episodes with new scripts and new jokes

-relaunching patreon to make it easier to support the show

-will now upload 6 episodes a month, 4 new games and 2 remake episodes

The thread about Greg leaving the show got traction back in 2015 so I figured the update should be shared here

Two years ago Jirad made a video saying greg (the side kick character in his old videos "BUT BEARDMAN" was his main meme joke) no longer would be a part of the show and asked everyone to respect the situation. Rumors egged on by Greg via twitter has made it an ugly situation for two years that Jirard attempted to ignore while getting death threats and shit at conventions, twitch chat, twitter, etc. The video today is Jirard coming as clean as he can with the whole situation which changed when earlier this year greg threatened legal action if the videos with his likelyness weren't taken down. Thats why all the videos are coming down and since it'll impact him financial due to adpocalypse he's retweaking his patreon and redoing old episodes.

Greg was Jirard's co-host in the first 120 episodes of the show. He used to be the comic relief, usually being responsible for most of the show's most iconic "memes" (that have since been retired) and carried most of the show's humor while occasionally providing some eloquent commentary, usually for the sake of a joke or to make a nostalgically profound point. He eventually got a lot more involved in episodes though (personally where I started falling out of the show). He left after a falling out with Jirard that according to him was entirely business related and it fractured their friendship.

Situations like this are why you gotta have contracts written out asap, of course when youtubers start they often have no idea if they'll actually get big where money becomes an issue.

I think the only way to find out is to fight out the actual court battle and see where things lie

I could see all three of those getting new versions or compilation collections (Skryim already has one in a few weeks), meaning he could kill two birds with one stone by reviewing the new versions.

In fairness, Hyrule Warriors probably would deserve a revisit considering that he could definitely talk about the DLC content, experience the other characters that were released since his first completion, and can probably find new ways to power through the game (all be it taking a bit longer than previously).

Who knows how Skyrim will play out though (although he can probably look at the latest "revised" versions of the game on the newer platforms probably.

Didn't he do multiple level 99 characters in Diablo 2 and take basically an entire year to play for the episode? I don't follow his channel but I remember seeing that review, don't know if it was before or after this cutoff.
