That's what I thought, though it's still one of my favorite 360 games. It's definitely worth $40 for anyone else. One of the most immersive, frightening games I've ever played.

Quoted for truth. The character designs were suitably deviant to startle me at times. It handles ambience very well, although the story's progression is probably polarizing. Anyway, get it, peeps.

Condemned is pretty bad ass.

It also has some of the most visceral combat I've ever seen. I actually winced the first few times I crushed someone in the face with a lead pipe.

Riddick had ****ing shitty combat. Breakdown was a lot better (except in shooting, but Riddick's shooting blew).

Condemned is better than Riddick in terms of combat and is about on par in terms of overall game quality.

But Riddick did have varied combat, which kept it from ever getting monotonous. I really like Condemned, but the combat and environments get repititive towards the end, imo. And yes, Breakdown's first person melee combat was better than both Riddick and Condemned.

Either way, Condemned is a good deal at $40.

I disagree. Riddick is more refined in terms of close quarters combat, and Condemned's shooting is not exactly joyful (it seems like they wanted the guns to be hard to shoot)

Still a great game.
