I own Galaxy buds pro, is there a way to directly connect them to the Xbox? I did it through my TV but there is a noticeable delay.

A bit gutting it has no Bluetooth connection for the console. Do you know if the connecting through the controller will eliminate lag? Thanks.Not possible, sorry.

Personally I haven't used BT with the controller jack, I tend to use a wired headphone and it works great for me.

Yeah just read further and lag is impossible to get around. Looks like I'll buy a proper Xbox headset, thanks for the reply.

Out of the box, yes, but you can buy a BT dongle for PS5 and use any BT earbud/headset.

Bluetooth earbuds have long latency, you don't want to do this. On you phone streaming apps like YouTube adjust for the delay by matching the video with the 120+ms of latency. But obviously games can't do that.
To prove the point, go download a game on the App Store on your phone and use your galaxy buds. It's bad.
Hopefully one day we can have ultra fast wireless buds, for now, even the best on the market are still not a great solution for this use case.

I tried that, but it took the TV out of game mode to avoid audio lag.

Yet no lag on audio output on ds4 or Dualsense when using the jack. Controller is Bluetooth. Mind = blown

I didn't say bluetooth as a technology has long latency. I said the bluetooth ear buds do. Just to list out a few:
AirPods: 276ms
AirPods 2: 178ms
AirPod Pro: 144ms
galaxy buds: ~140ms
razer ear buds: best so far, 60ms on game mode.
I can only speculate as to why, perhaps two separate devices over bluetooth delay the audio? Idk. But long latency on ear buds is a thing, it's getting better as you can see, but even 60ms is noticeable lag. Gaming right now with ear buds sounds amazing in theory, but in practice is a frustrating experience.

If your tv has an optical out, rca out, or 3.5mm audio out then i'd recommend getting a bluetooth transmitter for your tv so you can listen to everything that is hooked up with one bluetooth headset. I bought 2, one for my living room, and 1 for my old sony trinitron in my spare room for retro consoles so i can game and watch tv in both areas late at night without waking anyone. There's no delay from what i can tell and it's nice using one headset for all my consoles.
