Marowak sucking? Having higher attack than Deoxys and being able to break through Sturdy is not exactly sucky.

Well it's strong and ground is a good offensive type, but not exactly good due to it's other stats and that fact that you would pretty much have to build a trick room team around it.

Sandcastle looks great. Reminds me of Bouldergeist from Mario Galaxy, but with flailing arms like the whacky inflatable tube guys you see at car dealerships. Only the arms are towers.

I feel like they're more likely to retcon all the "Not Pikachus" (Plusle, Minin, Marril, Pachirisu, Emolga, Dedenne) into being the "Regional Forms" of Pikachu.

Togedemaru is "Alolan Pikachu."

They're all Electric, even - besides Marill.

I wonder if the form only works when you are surfing/fishing/diving? And it just takes that form at the start of battle and is grossly overpowered , but is the useless tiny form everywhere else. It would be pointless but awesome.

I'm wondering the same thing about the fish.

Maybe all of the fish live in the Pokeball, but only one fish comes out, and then when it's like <50% HP, the other fish bros come out of the ball and they're like, "Dude... Bro... Let's join forces!"

Then there's a quick cut to the scene from Predator where Arnold and the black guy say "YOU SON OF A BITCH" and grab hands, and super-fish forms

Hmm, maybe the Electric/Steel magnets... or the Poison pile of puke... or the Electric-type Pokeball...

I openly admit that I have nostalgia for those and thats why I am ok with these not not with the sandcastle.

"Nostalgia" is a lame reason. I grew up on the first generation and I still think most of the designs are lazy and unimaginative

Yes because the two completely correlate with each other and people must either love or hate both..I don't like either but come on.
