I know I know but still... even after so many years I can't believe that we humans are so self-destructive. How will those corporations spend their money if the world cease to exist?

The chances of that happening are very slim, so they're going to keep betting in their favor.

For UKers, copy this link and forward it to anyone over 40 that you may know. My sister is in her late 40s and was able to book an appointment, her other half is just over 50 and got his booked too. It'll likely work for those under 40 in a few weeks.

Nice world we live in. Vaccines sold to countries which offer higher prices meanwhile Europe is left behind. All for money.

Europe was twiddling its thumbs when the UK had already started fabrication for example. They were late in securing their vaccines. Very late

And if we continue with the UK as a reference, they have not stopped. Since January they have started fabrication of the novavax vaccine which should get the green light in May, and a French vaccine which should be ready in September.

I am in France, and I have not heard one word of the valnera (I think that is its name) french vaccine.

Europe needs to shut the fuck up, and start investing in new fabrication plants and start making bets on future vaccines.

Over half of those hospitalized in the US fell in the obese category.

This should be a wake up call to the "healthy at all sizes" crowd.
Doesn’t seem like the biggest risk factor when you consider that 42 percent of the USA is obese and 71 percent is overweight on last count in 2018.

71% Jesus Christ... I mean I live here sooo its not exactly shocking but goddamn I didn't think it'd be that high. A lot of people have a pension for laziness and an aversion to working out.

Fair enough, fair enough.

How about this statistic, then?

90% (2.2 million of 2.5 million) of the global deaths attributed to COVID-19 come from countries where at least 50% of adults are overweight.

Regardless of all other factors, there is no example--not a single one--of a country where people are generally not overweight or obese having high COVID-19 death rates.

Think I'm going to get an appointment for the j&j. It's available nearby. I was deciding between it an the Astrazenica, but seems like it's gonna be a long time for that one.

Also due to our idiotic snowflake modern culture some are promoting obesity as a good thing

The Pfizer vaccine is a great vaccine. I would like that one given the choice
I'm sure it is. I just have a travel quite a bit to get both doses, get there early, wait after etc .... would be nice to get it done after once shot but I'll take what I can get.

Have a friend who's like this and we clash about it semi regularly. She's all about these kinda snowflake woke bubble wrapped ""progressive"" modern sensibilities. Like she would look at that pic there and cheer it on and I'd be like no gross thats disgusting. Strive for physical excellence. Our ancestors would be appalled at shit like this.

Worth the journey and time out of your day.

I am planning on returning to the UK to get a jab in may. If I wait for this fucking useless french government, we won’t get vaccinated until next year. My partner who is considered at risk is not even up for consideration.

Of course the Union-owned CA media is trying to spin this as a negative for Florida and a positive for Newsom. But people with a brain will see it differently:

Video: Latest Science on COVID: Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Max Lugavere, Gina Florio | ROUNDTABLE (3/12/2021)

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Max Lugavere, Gina Florio, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya about why lockdowns don’t work and COVID prevention through physical activity and healthy eating. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya will explain why lockdowns don’t work and why he thinks that lockdowns were the worst public health mistake of the last 100 years. Max Lugavere will explain how you can use nutrition and immunity-boosting foods to strengthen your immune system. Gina Florio will focus on the best kind of exercise you can do to lower obesity and your BMI (body mass index) which the CDC has now confirmed as being one of the main risk factors increasing the COVID death rate. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya will also share why he thinks Dr. Fauci has not been able to see the harm done by never-ending lockdowns and indoor dining bans that continue despite the rollout of the COVID vaccine.

I get my 2nd dose in a couple weeks. Wish there was data on people who are immune compromised, they weren't included in the studies/trials. Not sure if the vaccine will work as well for me or not yet because there's no data.

Expecting a fever and chills.

So after first stating covid kills only 0,01% of the people who get it it's now the fault of all those extra people dying for not living healthy according to Bhattacharya.
His Fauci feud would be funny if it did not involve hundreds of thousands dying.

2020:
"An epidemic seed on January 1st implies "that by March 9th, about six million people in the US "would have been infected. "As of March 23rd," it's that Monday of this week, "there were 499 COVID-19 deaths in the US. "That's a mortality rate of 0.01%." In other words, a whole order of magnitude less than Dr.Fauci claimed just a couple of weeks earlier.

Joined Team Oxford-Astrazenica this morning. First jab. Feeling fine, will report back here with any side effects.

The best thing I noted was that those going into the vaccination centre were from the same age group as I (40s) so it really does look like they're blasting through the adult demographics in my area. And that's before the supply surge due.

My brother in law who is in his 40s is getting his first shot next Friday at boots! So I think that it is safe to assume that he will be getting the AZ vaccine

Still almost a month to go until shops and gyms open, considering how low the deaths & cases are, it surprises me that they dont bring it forward to the start of Easter to give businesses that bank holiday weekend for trading. Vaccinations are over 21m now, so in another 2 weeks will probably be over 25m, that's getting close to half of the entire population.

While that may be true, why would you be willing to take the manufacturer's word for it?

I'll take the MHRA's word for it

So 24hrs after being given OAZ, nothing to report beyond a tiny bit of tiredness and the tinest rise in temperature.

Basically:

So Germany, predictably, joins the Halt Club.

I guess they think they have the luxury of time, given that there's obviously not a third wave hitting most of europe right now... /s

The Continental Euro-Trash really are determined to bad mouth the AZ Vaccine, All out of a fit of pique & desire to hide their own shambolic roll-out.

..What a bunch of cunts they are.
