CostCo Muffins

Let's talk about CostCo Muffins, the biggest and best muffins in all the land. Don't you dare ever look at the nutrition facts, however. Just remain ignorant and feast your eyes.

Pictures don't really do CostCo Muffins justice. They are bigger than you ever thought a muffin should be, and they are as delicious as you can imagine.

The secret of these muffins is that they are the maximum size that can be applied to muffins. Any larger, and they would have to be classified as cakes according to food law.

I pick up a 12 pack everyone once in a while so I can be the awesome guy in the office and make everyone forgive me for my occaisional bullshit.

Also, Costco bagels are really good.

Costco near me now sells you two 6 packs for the 12 pack price, so you can mix and match and choose exactly what you want!

I'd kill for one of those double chocolate muffins right about now :( Stupid diet!

Blueberry muffins are my kryptonite and Costco offers decent ones for a great price in bulk. Costco is therefore my arch-enemy.

I wish there was a Costco near me so I could see what all the hype is about.

Muffins in the OP look really similar to the ones another store sells, maybe Sam's Club. And they're amazing.

Costco makes some pretty good croissants too and only $5 for 12. Most places only give you four for $5, and they're not half as good. Costco's bakery is the shit.

Do they make brownies? I bet they're amazing.

And the best part is that somehow the Costco croissants don't go stale in 12 hours like the ones they have at other grocery stores.

I don't know how the hell that happens, but its the main reason I stay away from croissants

as a kid these were quite popular at school. as an adult i think they're not very good. no matter what kind of costco muffin you're eating they all have that same distinct flavor.

it's kind of like that mcdonalds odor that all their food tastes off too.

the croissants are alright. i think they stay fresh an extra day due to the high amount of butter/oil they use. they're quite greasy feeling

Can't even eat half of one in one sitting. Still needed 2 glasses of milk.
They are cakes for all intents and purposes.

We bought a package and they went bad (1 week) before we could finish them. Never bought them again.

I've been on a mandated no-fat diet since Christmas and that picture of muffins has me ready to do bad things to good people. Fuuuuuuuuck.

I want to eaattttttt.

Is it safe/healthy to eat these things everyday? Because I do. Everyday. Half of a Chocolate Chip Costco Muffin for breakfast pretty much everyday.

However, WinCo muffins are so much better it's insane.

Costco blueberry muffins are so damn good.....

I'm sure you could do a half muffin a day or a whole muffin a day and not kill yourself.

What kind of gutter pizza have you been consuming in your life?

Opinions like these absolutely boggle the mind.
Of the pizza I've had (Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Caesar's, Papa John's, Hungry Howie's, CiCi's, and random frozen stuff) it's easily my favorite. You're going to make me cry.

Oh and I forgot the excess grease/oil in the wrapper is so disgusting.

Any fat I eat has the potential to trigger a gallbladder attack unfortunately. I could eat that muffin, but I might have to chase it with a Percocet afterwards.

Eat for me you glorious bastards. EAT!

protip: You can ask the bakery to give you any mix of the muffins you want (provided they haven't all been packed late in the day). Seriously, you want 2 chocolate, 5 poppy, etc? they'll do it as long as it's a full package.

protip 2: heat up the chocolate one; i'm lazy so use the microwave. Just a little to get warm.

SO. GOOD.

I love the chocolate chip and the pumpkin ones. Like crack, but man, they are so dense. I like heating half a chocolate chip muffin and serving it with some vanilla ice cream.

I prefer Wegmans In-Store Baked Muffins. They're godlike especially when they're still kinda hot from the oven.

Costco croissants are deadly, but I really don't like most of their bakery. My mom got a rainbow cookie cake from there for Christmas, my favorite, and it was mediocre compared to any local Italian bakery. Though it was only, like, a third of the price.

Wegmans anything is killer. Their bakery is od. I miss living in Western NY just for Wegmans.

Warmed up and served with vanilla ice cream! Genius, it never even occurred to me. That sounds delicious.

Costco used to have these amazing strawberry rhubarb pies the size of a tire, but they stopped carrying them years ago.

I have never forgiven them for that...

I bought a pack of costco muffins once and one of the muffins had a huge, sharp piece of black plastic in it.

Took it to the costco and they freaked the fuck out and gave me like 6 packs of muffins. Probably could have got more. Oh well.

The Nutrition facts I posted are for the Blueberry muffins, actually.

Chocolate muffins: 692
Poppyseed muffins: 672
Double Choc muffins: 690 (dunno how THAT works)
