Cougar Town S2: This show is much better than you think it is.

Courtney Cox is dating Brian Van Holt (Bobby from the show).

What the hell? Seriously? That's a trip.

Her and David are the exec producers of the show.
Her and Bobby are divorced in the show.
She is dating Grayson in the show.
But dating Van Holt (Bobby) in real life now.

O_o

This show was my guilty pleasure during the first season. I really only saw it because the men are hot.

I kinda wrote it off and have been seeing episodes this season only because it comes after Modern Family, but it's actually gotten... really better? The last two episodes have killed me. :lol

This show is crazy underrated. Second best new sitcom behind Community IMO. (I know both are on their second seasons, but I still consider them new-ish.)

Yeah it took me by surprise too. I didn't even know she split up with Arquette until I read this. It might've happened very recently though.

Yeah I thought it was pretty good. May have tried to fit in a bit too much dialogue in this episode but some of the jokes were just plain funny. Loved Laurie being Ellie and Ellie being Laurie. They all looked like they had a lot of fun filming this episode. :D

Great episode! Seeing Ken Jenkins (Bob Kelso) as Jules' father was awesome! And the ending was very touching, fantastic acting there. I love this show.

Also, the title gag read "Titles Are Hard: Cougar Town!" :lol

Holy motherfucking balls. I don't know what impresses me more, the fact that this show keeps getting better and better or that they referenced 'Spaced'. My favorite show on TV currently.

And Modern Cougar Town. :lol

This episode was pretty good! Loved Bobby's nose dripping every time he looked down. Also, nice reference of Coffee Bucks in the background from Scrubs. Lol. Oh and Jules' elimination of Best Present. Oh, and Andy's an evil genius?! Love it! Man, this episode was just really well done!

i used to hate Seinfeld right? i'd watch a few minute every so often for until it clicked.

ok, i have a minute of cougar town on my dvr after modern family.

they always do that meeting together in the room thing with dumb/forced commentary. Courtney cox is cringe worthy compared to her friends self. the scrubs woman feels tacked on cause her scrubs character was popular. the guys are completely unlikeable. that woman from freaks and geeks feels shoved in there too.

it's not much better than i think it is. ;/

Yeah, it seems they created the title based off the first 2 episodes, and now it has nothing to do with it.

I actually loved the shw even in Season 1, but season 2 is awesome. Many of the episodes actually have me laughing more than Modern Family.

Lori and Ellie's back and forth is hilarious.

The Halloween episode where they dressed up as each other was fucking GOLD! :lol

I loved the evil genius bit. Such a great call back to episode where Andy educates Travis in the ways he manipulates Ellie. That was such a fun episode, another great episode like this one and its going to surpass HIMYM which has gotten stale this season.

What was the Spaced reference?

BTW, the rocket ship present to Grayson was amazing...so...goddamn amazing.
Yeah that was really sharply written.

The finger-gun shootout at the end was an homage to Spaced (season 2). Travis even says "I love Spaced" as he falls down after being shot.

I like Grayson because he's often the butt of jokes and he usually rolls with it. I love the entire cast, to be honest. Everyone's funny.

With the Halloween episode, did anyone catch the Scrubs callback with Ken Jenkins (Kelso, Jules' dad)? In one Halloween episode of Scrubs Kelso goes around wearing a bear costume annoying the crap out of JD and he thinks its the Janitor, but it ends up being Kelso. Very clever.

Yet another awesome episode. Damn you people, watch this show!

The title was funny too "It's okay to watch a show called Cougar Town"

8 episodes in and we're still at page 2. :lol Show was amazing this week as well. Grayson was especially good.

People are missing out and that's a crying shame.

Seriously. I'm not concerned, though. The ratings for the show are great, but it's just nice to laugh with a bunch of people.

BTW: Your Elly Tran avatar is so damn distracting. I hate you.

Best show around at the moment. I've been almost evangelical with the show so far; sadly a LOT of people have just complained about Jules not being enough like Monica =/

What in the hale

People actually complain about that? :lol

You mean that with love.

Why would anyone complain about that? Don't like the main character, don't watch. Simple.

The Zach Braff app was hilarious. :lol

Another great episode. Title tag was "Regretfully, we present you...Cougar Town"

I love Kevin's roommate. And the video chat/video dancing was hilarious. :lol

Cougar Town won't be returning until April 13, 2011. :(

WHAT!?

Yesterday's episode may have been the best of the season so far. Bobby is such an awesome character, and I'm sensing a lot of progression for him. Also, Lori and Travis as an item? Haha, seems weird. She's like 12 years older than him in the show. But it'd be interesting to see this, just so we can finally have a show to go against the TV romance grain.

The show came back today! They changed the schedule!!! Thank God. This episode was hilarious, and Lori's ending was fantastic. :lol

Btw: Kirsten girl is waaaay hot.

Awesome! That's great news. Wasn't Bill constantly saying on Twitter it wouldn't come back until Mid-April? :/

So was there a new episode tonight or not? My local ABC affiliate was a mess. I saw an episode of Modern Family that started at around 9:25 followed by the last 5 minutes of another episode of Modern Family...

There should've been a new episode. I don't know if they'll air it tonight, but expect it to be online shortly.

Did something pre-empt ABC's scheduling tonight? I was out until after 9pm.

Okay I'm giving this show a shot. I'm starting from the beginning, and I gotta say, Episode 1.01 is not so hot. How many episodes before it gets good?
