You know that was from a 3ds game right?
Switch isn't out yet dude. I think it will sell very well in Japan. It's also supposed to be very easy to develop for.
NIS is literally the only example and they'll probably change their tune after they see Disgaea 5's Switch sales.

I was talking about Monster Monpiece, but ok.
No because it won't get the same support from third parties. Especially not Japanese ones. No matter how successful it is.

I think it'll carry on the Vita's torch, yes. Can't see the Switch being a massive success anytime soon but it'll likely become a platform for plenty of indie titles.
Arc System Works - BlazBlue
Bandai Namco - Taiko Drum Master, Tales
Capcom - Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers
Koei Tecmo - Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII, Fire Emblem Warriors
Konami - Super Bomberman R
Sega/Atlus - Sonic Mania, Project Sonic 2017, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Shin Megami Tensei
Square-Enix - I Am Setsuna, Project Octopath Traveler, Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest XI, Dragon Quest Heroes I & II
???
Setsuna coming on the Switch. Project octopath traveler...
The main new DQ also coming. Square Enix is obviously happy about the Switch.
No I'm sure we can find other examples and really... the system is not even out yet !
Lots of games are not announced at all. I see far too much negativity in your comments.
It's not either "No support" or "every game from the Vita on it" you know...
Which Monster Monpiece characters are 1000 years old?
There won't be games that have 10 year old girls masquerading as 1000 year old people. Weebs will have to find somewhere else to get their rocks off.
we really don't have a lot of time to get into the lore of monster monpiece, duckroll.
At best you're misinformed.NIS is literally the only example and they'll probably change their tune after they see Disgaea 5's Switch sales.
So did Nis, and you mentioned it in your post. Either I'm tired or you don't make sense. You just named a whole bunch of brands and developers who worked on 3DS. Pretty much all of those franchises appeared on 3DS.
Those developers have already moved onto PS4. Switch is irrelevant to them.-

Nintendo made the HD rumble for a reason.

I wanted to make a dumb joke about smutty game but it's already been done
With the shit sales most Vita to PS4 projects have been getting you seriously don't expect them to at least try to broaden their audience if the Switch is successful?

A Nintendo platform attracts a different audience(or so they say).

This is Vita dying, in a world with no other Vita-like machine. A new variable is being introduced. You haven't noticed the trend of games going Vita--> Vita with PS4 port --> PS4 with (shitty) Vita port ---> PS4?
It's been happening for the last two of three years.
Yup. Why would they?

I won't waste a lot of time explaining why the Vita is so great, but those who own it know the basics. Not a lot of AAA blockbuster games, but it's a very robust handheld system with a ton of great games, many of which are 'indie' titles.
It seems unlikely that Sony will make a successor to the Vita, so in a few years the stream of games coming to it will ultimately dry up. This will create a void for someone like me, who while I have a PC and a PS4, and can purchase the indie titles I'd like to play, I prefer to play these types of games on my handheld.
Speaking strictly to the portable aspect of Switch, there's a couple of scenarios that could play out. If it surprises everyone and becomes a really big hit, the third party and indie title support will come and you'll essentially get a new Vita-esque system on steroids. If the system doesn't sell like gangbusters, there's a scenario where depending on the attach rate, we could see a nice stream of indie titles and the system could fill the Vita void, with the added bonus of AAA Nintendo mainline games replacing the Sony off-shoot properties.
Battery life is a big issue and could sink this dream of mine. I've also never dealt with Nintendo's online infastructure which seems like it might be a barrier to having such an environment. However I'm hopeful that whether the system does really well or not, Switch could prove to be a nice 'successor' to the Vita if Sony isn't willing to fill the void w/ a new handheld.
Any Vita owners eyeing the Switch as a potential landing spot?
Why couldn't we include mobile alongside Wii U, 3DS, and Vita for development efforts Switch will inherit? A console that also happens to be a multitouch tablet is primed to tap into the mobile market... and possibly give it the one thing that's kept mobile gaming from getting much lift with traditional gamers: a fully supported physical control option included in every box.I think it's expected at this point that Switch will inherit the development efforts that were historically going to 3DS, Wii U, and Vita, albeit probably not with the same number of games that we saw historically thanks to mobile.
More people are questioning whether it'll get anything beyond that.
My bad, let's talk about NeoGAF's favorite 3DS mascot character instead - Nowi!

Yeah, it makes little sense that they would just remove Vita from the equation and expect PS4 to pick up the slack with regards to software sales. As Switch makes its way in and Vita fades out I suspect the ecosystem will be Switch <--> PS4
3ds had a ton of japanese 3rd party support. This is nonsense.

Just like 3DS right?I'm really not.

About Switch audience, do you believe it will be more diverse than it used to, thanks to the adult/sexy hardware? Just today we had a thread showing lots of PS4 & Vita owners saying they are getting Switch day one.he audience for Vita and PS4 is seen as much closer than the audiences of Vita and Nintendo platforms.
