Michael Bay directing traffic on I-95 damn, hope that driver survived O.O

Also "somebody better call 911" while he's recording on his phone lmao

"someone call 911"

Motherfucker...

:edit:

Finished the video. Looks like he already called 911 before the video started and he ended the video to call 911 again. Holy fuck though.

*insert generic vertical video complaint*

But really, I'm sure he didn't, but is there any chance the driver of the first truck survived?

Looks like maybe the cab of the truck stayed on the highway while the trailer went off but I dunno I'm just being optimistic that looked nasty.

I have a friend that drives that route. I called to make sure he was ok. Heartbreaking to see this stuff happen so close to the holidays.

Are most of those drivers morons? Several drive straight into the smoke and fire, then when a few stop someone else crashes into them? WTF?! He wasn't even going fast so that one could argue he didn't have time to react especially when there was a giant fucking fire signalling that something's gone horribly wrong.

Came for idiots sliding around on ice as usual.
Stayed for the fuckin' tanker truck exploding.
Left for the people sliding helplessly into the inferno.

Stay safe, everybody.

"Check this shit out yo" *fireball inferno a second later*

Wonder if that guy survived. Couldn't tell if there is a hole between the highways or only a barrier. Cause if that truck fell some yards then good lord.

Good thing life isn't like GTA or else the whole highway of cars would have started exploding just by proximity to the first fire.

Like, okay... maybe after I-95 is engulfed in flames you should put the camera away and call again :lol

But then, we wouldn't get the video I guess.

I get what you're saying but I'm not sure what he could have done. Seems like he was in shock. And trying to approach that vehicle or something would be a very bad idea and could lead to more people getting injured.

He said again. Sounds like he had already called before starting recording.

In an emergency never assume that somebody else has called for help. Negatives if he's the second person to dial it in? None. Negatives if he waits and first responders don't get there as quickly as they otherwise might? You can imagine.

The guy should've stopped filming and dialled 911 immediately after things went south.

Two people died and 15 were taken to a hospital in a 55-vehicle crash as a tanker fell off an Interstate 95 bridge and exploded in the freezing rain in Baltimore Saturday morning, the Baltimore Fire Department said.

It was one of more than a dozen crashes around the region as the freezing rain accumulated in ice on the roads, officials said. Another driver died in a crash on I-95 north near Eastern Avenue about 5 a.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police. A 15-car pileup on the Baltimore beltway at Route 702 closed the inner loop for hours, State Police said.

Cellphone video showed the tanker careening down the highway, then striking the jersey wall, rolling off the highway and erupting into a fireball.

It's raining hard and there's ice on the road, seems like the perfect time to drive down the interstate at full speed!

Oh sure as hell stay the fuck away from the burning wreckage, like the only thing he COULD do would be to call 911 again, but I'm not going to hate on him too much cause people aren't usually great in crisis situations.

Sides, at the end of the video he's like "oh shit I gotta call 911 again"

http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2016/12/17/at-least-40-cars-one-tanker-involved-in-i-95-crash/

2 dead, 11 hurt, 40 vehicles involved.

Like how the guy filming can bitch all he likes but offers absolutely no help for the situation. Scum

First off, it's an elevated highway with a gap in the middle, so he can't exactly get over there without jumping across a 4-8 foot gap over a two or three story drop.

Second, you want him to walk, on ice and in the dark, into the middle of the highway with cars and trucks sliding everywhere, towards the tanker truck explosion?

Dude probably could quit filming and try 911 again, but it'd be suicidal to even attempt helping given the conditions. If he even made it across the gap, he'd get picked off by the first sliding car and killed.

Guess I'm avoiding driving until the air temperature hits about 40°. People suck at driving out here.

The driver of that petrol tanker didn't even think to slow down till it was too late. Holy shit that was crazy.

Just another reminder that your life can be over in an instant and you'll never see it coming. Can't imagine the last few seconds of thought in that guy's head.
