The movie Volcano, end of the movie when people are covered in ash, the kids says "Look dad, everyone is the same color"...making a commentary on racism. Even as a kid, it was too cringe worthy.
For fucks sake. I thought the first Catwoman .gif in the early pages of this thread was terrible. The same movie just beat itself in the same thread!

the one that still gets me is this sequence of events
1) squad is going on a helicopter to their destination, they see a giant lightning burst going up towards the heavens, ask what it is, flagg says it's terrorists with a dirty bomb, deadshot laughs and says yeah right
2) squad fights supernatural boring black goo enemies for like 45 minutes
3) squad finds out they're going against supernatural enemies from flagg and that he was lying to them (????) and they all decide to say fuck that and go to a bar because they thought they were gonna fight regular enemies. flagg comes in, apologizes, disables their collars and says he needs them and they all come with him

It's been a while since I watched it, but I'm pretty certain the lie is not about "supernatural enemies". The team were told they are against an outside threat while in fact they're cleaning up Waller's own mess and the one they must rescue is Waller's own hide.

A lot of people in my theater laughed at his lines, but not me. I just wished they put a muzzle on him. I hate the quips, I hate them so much. Age of Ultron killed them forever for me and now I can't stand the MCU rapid fire one liners that never land.
I don't find any of these lines funny. However, I don't find any of these lines trying to be funny, nor are they played to the point where I feel the movie is bending over backwards to deliver these lines to get laughs.I am honestly having a hard time reconciling this opinion with your love of Suicide Squad. I laughed harder in Suicide Squad than I had in the entirety of the MCU and Star Wars combined, because I felt that Suicide Squad's tone was exactly what I want my media to be.
I see this less as a cringe worthy scene, but as a scene of complete and sincere shock. Like "oh my gooooooood what are they doing""You know they say it's all downhill after the first kiss."

That feeling was the entire aesthetic of BvS, which is why I absolutely adore that film while hating Man of Steel

Jonathan Kent scene in 78 Superman was heartbreaking and well acted.

When you make Amy Adams look like a shitty actor you know you fucked up. The best (worst) part of it is that the other characters continue on like she didn't just say the dumbest thing imaginable. If it wasn't for the smallville action scene, the score and shannon as zod the movie would be down in the trash with bvs and suicide squad.

Electro falling into the tank-vat in TASM2 and basically getting his powers comes to mind. Such a dumb scene, it least it gave us a great gif, that sadly I cannot find right now for some reason.
