Crisis Core FF7 Jump Festa trailer!

Wasn't Zack's voice a lot deeper in Advent Children? He seems too cheerful and giddish, I always considered he was supposed to be more solemn

If he was solemn, he would be Cloud. :D

Note that I'm not talking about you in particular, but it blows my mind when I see a person who claims a Sony platform has no games and then goes and buys crap like Godfather: Blackhand.

Me?... I didn't buy it. Lol

Anyway, has the PSP's price dropped yet? It seems to be taking a while. :/

For crying out loud,PSP has other great games besides this one.
There are but right now this moment there isnt a game that warrants its purchase for me...I know its weird but it takes 1 game for me to buy a system. 1 game that i have great interest in...the other games coming out for psp that I want are,
Final Fantasy Tactics, Castlevania and God of War. thats all i care for.

Very interesting (waiting for the subtitles).

I just want to know if we could travel overworld like in the original FF7.

I don't know if this is stealth trolling, but we've been derailed to talking about psp having ports to now a psp price drop. IF you dont want a psp, we are not forcing you to buy one.

on topic, FF:CC looks awesome. I am glad i have a psp to play it.

I wouldn't mind getting a PSP, it's just that I don't think it's a great idea to pay $200 for a handheld system.

Hence, I was wondering if there's been a price drop.

Well, I've looked quite a few times, and I see mostly ports. The only thing of interest that the PSP has (to me) is it's RPGs (Valkyrie Profile, Tales, etc) Other than those, I really don't have any reason to get one on the side of FFVII:CC and FF: Tactics.

Enlighten me, please. I don't like racers, nor am I a fan of MGS. So give me some other ideas.
How about platformers?
Daxter and R&C: Size Matters are two of the best platform games regardless of system. Original games made exclusively for PSP.

How about strategy games?
Field Commander, while a clear Advance Wars rip, is a step up over the series. Excellent title, as are both Metal Gear Ac!d games.

Puzzle?
Q entertainment has your back there, Lumines 1&2, Gunpey, and Every Extend Extra are all great. You also have Puzzle Quest now if you're into puzzle startegy/rpg hybrids, and who isn't?

Action/Adventure?
Two solid GTA games that offer the same sandbox game play of the console counterparts, Syphon Filter:Dark Mirror, the best action game on a handheld, and Killzone Liberation are all great games. Add God of War coming in November and its pretty damn tasty.

Racing?
Wipeout Fusion and Ridge Racer would be enough but you can also add the excellent Pursuit Force, action/racer hybrid, to the mix, which has an upcoming sequel featuring multiplayer. ATV Offroad isn't bad either.

Sports?
The best portable sports game of all time, MLB 07 The Show, along with Hot Shots Golf and a host of lesser titles that still come pretty close to console level depth out of a portable system.

I don't know, I'd say the system is pretty well covered from every angle, and those are just the games I personally own and am looking forward to getting in the near future, not going into a host of other upcoming excellent titles, or its amazing emulation capabilities, most notably near perfect PS1 emulation.

As for FF:CC, looks impressive. I think we might get an early glimpse into FFXIII's combat engine here as well. The HUDs are fairly similar and the combat concepts around both games sounds very much alike. Maybe that is what has delayed FF:CC so much, they wanted to use it as a practicing ground for FFXIII's combat engine, much like Kojima used MGS 3: Subsistence as a trial for a free controlled camera in anticipation of its potential use in MGS4.

but....but...how?

See, it's simple. First, you cross the streams (don't listen to those fogeys who tell you not to do it, they're afraid of change).

Streams crossed? Next you have to plug in HDMI cables to you toaster. (For optimal results, ensure the toaster is currently running Tetris for the original Gameboy).

Connect cables to washing machine. Into the washing machine, insert any three of the following items:

A rubber duck
A wooden sword
A pet dragon
A handphone made before 1999
A copy of Sonic the Hedgehog for the PS3 (MUST be PS3 version)
A looseleaf binder.

Activate washing machine for three hours.

Take the contents out from the washing machine, and cook them in a George Foreman grill.

Serve contents in a blue jug (green jugs may be a worthwhile substitute) using a Super Paper Mario game disc as a coaster.

Looks so visually awesome, hopefully the gameplay can match up to the graphics. Regardless, I'll buy out just for the ****ing cut-scenes and OST.

I would say ATV Offroad is pretty bad on PSP. But one that isn't bad, and that is in fact really great, is Burnout Legends.

Burnout Dominator > Legends

well sir i would not know since i did not play that game yet on PSP. But if I'm not mistaken, there's no crash mode in that game, which automatically makes it lose.

I don't like Sports or Racing games, but thanks for taking the time to write that out. :) Some of those games are interesting to me, but I think I'm still going to wait for a price drop.

Either way, FFVII:CC is looking great. If they have a price drop and the game turns out good, I'll probably pick up one.

It's pretty said that this is the only product out of the 17 spinoff games/movies that FFVII has received that actually interests me on some level. That said, looking cool. :)

Wicked. The game looks excellent.

I'm intrigued by how much power the PSP has. The game looks like a great PS2 game, resolution aside. The animations, especially the faces, are so well done.

The setting and plot details look very satisfying as well.

I honestly don't intend this as a troll, because I respect the PSP as a platform, but I'd love it if this could also come out as a downloadable game from the PSN store (for the PS3) - I'd absolutely fork over the $40-50 for it.

It's not much weaker than the PS2, actually. I think the biggest reason for the boost is resolution, though.

What the ****! I just saw the new trailer and the game looks incredible. There is no denying the fact that Crisis Core will surpass many games in terms of graphics.

Looks like we have the second million seller in Japan for PSP.

Bad thing is all the voice will be redubbed which will take a long time.

Really hard to believe those graphics are PSP. What is the ceiling to the PSPs capabilities?

Looks really nice. It's a shame it will be nothing but a bloated story fest. Any shots of actual gameplay besides the battle system? World Map? Dungeons? Towns?

No problem, took me a couple minutes tops. But why didn't you just initially say "I find it hard to pay $200 for a handheld system"?

The PSP kicks ass and is well worth $200 though. It offers a good all around library, anyone who had one could pretty easily find a dozen games they'd like on it.

Yea, but those are still just pics of the battle-system. I believe Avalon wants to see actual shots of exploration threw some of these gorgeous settings.

Sorry, best I can do. We'll have to wait until the SE Party for new media.

Looking much better and ambitious than I ever anticipated (graphics, gameplay, story presentation). This and the FFT updated port make me want to get the PSP, but i'll hold out.

The graphics are really impressive but I cant really get excited about the game.

Never liked the world or the cast of FFVII.. not to mention Square's got a pitiful track record when it comes to ARPGs.

Wow, this game is incredible looking. Reminds me that I still have a bunch of games to pick up for the system when I have the chance...

Looks nice, of course, but the few seconds of actual battle gameplay looks really stiff - I remember the gameplay looking a lot better in the E3 trailer, but maybe I was just surprised to see anything out of this game at all.

-Amazing graphics
-Amazing CG
-Amazing animation
-Bombing run

SOLD

oh and fun looking gameplay!

Seriously this is one of the big reason why I want the PSP! Please don't suck! Anyways the trailer looks great, I wish someone sub it or something.

I'll see if I can arrange that, no promise.

Hope so.

My anticipation for this game is growing. It's like... I want it NOW! (and suck it up you Gackt haters :lol )
