Kingdom Hearts is actually my guilty pleasure, but not because it was a good ARPG - to the contrary, it had shit ARPG mechanics. I just liked the purty graphics and endless stream of fanwank cameos.

Since Ami isn't man enough, I will step up to the plate and say that yes, all three of those games are absolutely not good ARPGs.

Hopefully! Fingers crossed it's not Chain of Memories 2 since I thought that was a godawfully bad game.

Well that's not an action RPG, but yes... I did think FFX-2's battle system was the sole good thing about that title. So I guess that is a glimmer of hope in the endless caverns of darkness, indeed.

Yeah, I'm sure Chain of Memories was a one off mistake for Jupiter. After all their recent game Spectrobes was awesome. :D

Kingdom Hearts is awesome, perhaps taste is subjective? Though applying your own opinion as fact and universal truth does seem to be in abundance here.

You're serious? Amir0x has some right to universal say of what's right and wrong? What did I even do wrong in yours and following posts? This is a forum, I didn't personally attack anyone specific. I did, however, say that I believe people in this thread, and many others, express their opinions as if people who have a dissimilar taste is somehow inferior in their way of appreciating what good and bad games.

If you lacked the ****ing mental capacity to be able to tell the difference between when someone is stating an opinion as fact, and just plain stating an opinion, then you can't expect people to reasonably give a **** about your e-feelings.

I will say that based on your comments, you probably do have an inferior way of appreciating what makes a good or bad game - and I ain't afraid to say it either. But that's just my opinion.

My psp got stolen and I bought it for this game (and FFT). Looks like it will be my killer app all over again.
 
Looks OMG. Some fan-service is in order and remixing some classical tunes is the right way to do it. I so ****ing wish that one side-quest or part of the main story would be in Cosmo Canyon! And that the music would be from VII. BUGENHAGEEN!!!!....


And I like KH more that KHII. KH had a simplier plot the characters didnt angst so much and it felt so FRESH. KHII was 30 hours of endless fan-service wo ant real substance.

I hate that Nomura has so much say at Square these days. It still baffles me that Square let a character designer direct his own projects.
