Hopeful news and that makes me have both eyes on the next NeedforSpeed (even though I was never a fan of the series) Criterion + Cheshire is a super alliance.
According to information and indications, I believe that the EGO engine has finished its use. The game would be made under the technology of the engineers of Cheshire Studios and I personally can not be happier because they have proven to be very top.

If EA let them do their own thing, then chances of the next NFS game being great are quite high. ExEVO + Criterion can be a hell of a combo for the racing genre. The only other defunct studio I could see matching their pedigree for arcade racers is the old Bizarre Creations Studios (RIP).

That sucks. I was hoping they would make something like DriveClub or MOtorstorm now that they have EA money but EA just repurposed them into Criterion. Disappointing.

For the last 5 years they've been a support studio for Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield. I guess it's not totally alien to them since they made Black.
