BIOSHOCK
Resistance 2 has a meta score in the high 80's.
Highest rated game in the serise.
I have yet to talk to anyone who liked R2 let alone someone who thinks its the best in the series.
Assassins creed one is a pos. It Is the definition of all flash and no substance. Everything is scripted. And it is a collectAthon. The underlying mechanics are nice And the game is pretty. But the actual game sucks.
This was the first AAA Title. Where it was obvious the media bought into the hype. A few web sites really called it like it is. The rest I don't know what they were thinking.
Did not play 2.
I'm struggling to think of a game that received amazing scores but was later generally acknowledge as being bad. Time to peruse old game reviews.
The most critically acclaimed game of all time.

There is so much crummy filler in this game that I didn't realize until just recently. It lacks flow, and, outside of the dungeons, decent level design. The time travel mechanic is incredibly weak from a gameplay perspective, paling in comparison to the Light/Dark world mechanic of its predecessor. And of course, the worst part about this game is the reintroduction of older elements when entering ganondorf's castle. Time to reexperience all those enemies all those enemies and locales megaman style!
Of course, the story gets points for being short and sweet. And the cutscenes are approached with a level of minimalism that I absolutely admire.

God of War.
I simply do not enjoy these games. It's like they put a 13 year old kid in charge of a development studio.
My answer is that popular game you loved. You know the one. You got so hyped, but it was factually awful. You should feel bad for liking it.
