Notch is so damn rich.
clearly.
Yes, clearly. What was she talking about then? If not the life of girls that play games?
So those are the people that console exclusives appeal to...
I love to laugh at 10-year-olds, it makes me feel superior.

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the absolute cringiest, how bad is this
please note that this is now how I will picture every person on gaf who is overly invested in console exclusives from here on.
I'm not so sure.
I have a young cousin that I gave my minecraft account to a a year or so ago.
He got really obsessed, minecraft books, clothes etc.
I got real worried that he'd turn out like one of these people so I changed the password.
It sends me a password reset attempt email like every week.
Bless him.
*Loud groan*Or maybe that dude is representative of CrowbCat and his male-dominated audience (potentially pro-gamergate viewers)?![]()

I don't know if the keemstar fanboy is the hero or villain of this event.
*Loud groan*
She asked "Do you find it hard to compete in a world of gaming where it's mainly male dominated?" and just gets a random number thrown at her and told that she's wrong. That's a terrible way to answer a genuine question that could actually have lead to some decent discussion.

Sorry for low quality. I'm not a gif maker on Sunhi_Legend's level
This was how I saw it, too. She bombed the question. Ironically I f there's any GG pandering happening here, I'd actually guess it's her. Because not only did she bomb the question, she threw out that stat to answer with a certain dismissiveness as though the question was preposterous on top of it. Like, "how dare you bring up that 'male-dominated industry' nonsense?"
"How many of you have autism?"That was great, but there was still nothing that could beat the first 45 seconds of Minecon 2013: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRdcptG365I

How do you know it didn't lead to discussion? You're watching an edited soundbite. The question was about competing with others in a male dominated world, and then she counters that women aren't quite as rare since it's not as male-dominated as the player demographics show that almost half are women, anyway. She asked "Do you find it hard to compete in a world of gaming where it's mainly male dominated?" and just gets a random number thrown at her and told that she's wrong. Why you gotta go kill your cousin's dab man?
I kinda feel sorry for him (not literally but more like "aww, poor kid")
Was he like, unhealthy obsessed, or Pokemon obsessed? Cuz I f-ing loved Pokemon as a little kid.
Now?! This is how have viewed it for a very long time.
The internet has ruined society.
It's time to shut it down.

Here's the actual video:

You'll see that it's not the only answer the young girl gets.
"I've been gaming a long time and honestly I haven't run into any problems playing with male friends or random male people that I meet online. It's never been an issue for me."
There's mention of that perception being born out of the 90s due to advertising.

Edit: Oh god, that poor girl who asked a thought-provoking question to someone she perhaps looks up to and gets a smarmy, sarcastic response. This is terrible in more ways than cringe.
The Keemstar Troll kid has terrifying quantities of "dont give a fuck". Getting up on stage and accepting a prize competition just to troll the entire event is some big balls "I HAVE NO LIMITATIONS" madness.
Its so weird to see "trolling" bleed in to real life. Do we immediately qualify these people as psychopaths?
Oh fuck, I'm officially too old for this shit. I only watched because some of crowbcat's videos have made me chuckle but this was too much. I have no idea what the kids were asking, what that weird dance move was. I have no idea who this keemstar guy or girl is or why he or she is somehow important or popular and I really couldn't give a shit either way.
I know what Minecraft is and I know it's popular but...what. What the hell was that.
