I feel dirty after listening to that, but mostly because it was just dumb. The thing is, taken as it is on paper, the song isn't in any way shape or form controversial, hell, you could say the same thing on the left as the right. The only reason that there might be a right wing/tea party INSINUATION is because of the use of the use of jingoistic imagery and quotes from the founding fathers.
And even THEN, the quotes chosen are as boringly safe as possible, only talking about how awesome "freedom" is and how we have to work for it. There's nothing special nor interesting about it, and thus utterly forgettable.
