what's with all of the multiplat release trolls that always come out to blow any differences in quality way out of proportion? do you get paid for every copy of a game you block the sale of on a rival platform?

360 sp looks great
PS3 sp looks great
both versions MP look about the same: muddy and dumbed down because if it was using the same engine as SP as-is it would run like the Fallout 3 slide show loading screens.

regardless of what console i own, the videos and screens have convinced me to buy the console version over the PC version. i love my little trophies/achievements and i've been craving some good FPS scifi on my tv and (fuck you, it's awesome) sound bar for a while now.

Just buy it on Steam (when it's on sale for £10 in a few months) and hook up your HDTV to your PC via HDMI or VGA cable. There, you now have the The Way It's Meant To Be Played version, with all the Cheevs and Comfy Couch you could ever want.

Seriously, fuck both the console versions. Actually, fuck Crysis 2 MP altogether.

Does the 360 have a fixed RGB setting?

I always noticed 360 versions of mutilplat games are always darker and the colors seem more richer. But the PS3 can achieve this too by changing the RGB output to full. It's wrong though. You get black crush that way as you can see in the 360 version. The correct option is limited.

I do play some games with full on. I don't think shadow detail is important for games as it is for bluray movies.
