Crysis 3 Seven Wonders trailers

I rike it!

Seriously though, this game seems better than 2... and truly hopes somehow it manages to captivate me as much as 1. I won't get my hopes up too much, but let's wait and see.

i don't know what's wrong with me but that trailer did nothing for me. seemed like totally uninteresting gameplay and it didn't do anything that special visually IMO.

grass is better than average though i guess?

Well, that was underwhelming. Too little cinematography to make it feel like a short, but enough to make it feel like the gameplay is super scripted, when it is not. I wonder if that will backfire.

The only thing I really liked about it was the complete lack of any HUD. I wonder if there really is a hardcore type mode where it just tells you when you're out of ammo like that.

Where did you read that it was at console specs?

I do notice the aggresive LOD and the lack of tesselation though among other things

PoM much worse than in MP Alpha, textures are low res on some objects, shadows have aggressive lod and they change even 5 meters from camera. For example watch shadows at 4:32, when camera is closing up to the bus, on different objects like the bus or vegetation.

Hate this MP Alpha NDA, i would post something ;\

I hope that gamersyde will get this video, i want to watch it in decent quality.

So was this PC gameplay or console gameplay then?

Either way, it still looks freaking amazing and I'd love to see when the next 7 wonders video will come. It was sick but it's unfortunate I had to watch on a work PC and not get the most out of it yet, until I get home. :P

I would have liked this trailer more if I could tell apart grass from dirt. Seriously, who thought that having muted colors was a good idea, geez.

It doesn't make sense for them to show off such a primer trailer based on console specs. Pertaining to LoD, I guess I need to re-see the entire sequence since I found it fantastic (if somewhat bland pertaining to colour) without any LoD related issues.

I'm comparing it to the other video.

Yeah seems kind of obvious when you think about it. I played the alpha too and notice a great difference in qualtiy here.

"They were known as the Ceph short for cephalopod like the squid they look like"
Why the fuck not just call them squids?
If the "game play"i is any indication the AI looks like garbage.

Its console settings played on PC probably, i doubt that it was recorded from actual devkit. But they definitely used gamepad there :) 2:40 is so obvious gamepad screen scrolling.

Can anyone point to me the portions where aggressive LoD system is at work? I can't seem to find any thing problematic save the very last cinematic with the weird shadow drawing and disappearance.

Just didn't find it impressive. VA seems off, dialogue a bit weak. Everything too brown even though I feel it should be more colourful. Visuals that really don't look all that different to before. Animations that feel a bit unrealistic and off, and enemy AI that doesn't seem to react realistically or do all that much.

Previous vid was more impressive since it was using maxed out footage. But yeah, good for console. I hope the framerate holds up.

Looks awesome. Didn't play Crysis 2 and by the sounds of it I will skip it. Hopefully a decent card for $300 is around early next year to replace my 6870

Looks good, especially if console.

Drops gun, picks up bow. "Welcome to the New World! Same as the old one!"

Indeed, is that suggesting we still use bows and arrows over here in the Old World?

I enjoyed Crysis 2, but I don't know, this didn't look all that fun or different, just wasn't wowed with the art or gameplay.

Will probably still play through it, if only to give my 670 a good run.
