It also mentioned a diskless, cheaper sku. Why would MS leak a cheaper sku months and months away if they were currently struggling with sales now? (Ok, not struggling, but it still doesn't make financial sense).
You leak things strategically for hype, if as a company you're going to do this, not for giving away secrets that could harm business or decrease your potential dividends.
Plus the sheer amount of stuff he leaked was simply too much. If you want to do this kind of stuff, you usually leak a little bit at a time. Even CBOAT works more inline with a controlled leaker than ntkrnl.
You know it'd be great if Bishoptl would give us a few hints of what went down during that "bishification" process. Not sure if that's, like, forbidden or something.
