Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, major stick drift issue? Anyone else?

I'm having a weird issue with MAJOR stick drift in this game. I've never had any issues, and it's not existant in any other games at all. During converstaions, or gameplay, it's super fucking distracting. Is this just me?

If it's happening during conversions it's not stuck drift and it is a bug that was noted in skill ups review. He had it happen on the PC so it might happen on all platforms.

Section on bugs starts at 14 minutes in, it's in there somewhere:

Damn... It's really distracting. Happens all the time! You can move the stick a hair, and it starts, and push it further, and it stops. Wtf man...

Yes I've had it on Xbox. I thought I was imagining it.

Yeh on PC using keyboard and mouse it seems to force your character to look at the floor when it happens.

Sorry for the off topic, but how does it look on PS5? 4K? I've seen that it runs at 60. My PC can't run it, so I'm picking it up tomorrow for PS5.

If it's resolution and image clarity that you're after you might want to hold off entirely for now.

It's around 1080p.

I have it on Demons Souls sometimes. No other game but that one.

Make a video and show us then.

If you've come back to this forum to troll and shitpost then don't waste everyone's time.

To be 100% honest, it's not that ugly so you can't stand the sight, but it's rough. Not sharp at all, rather smooth and blurry. Objects and people up close look low res. Oh, and HDR is beyond messed up.

Is it on the left joystick? Playing on PS4 and using a DS4 but bought it 2 months ago and noticed it was drifting while playing this. Thought it was the controller itself but is it really tied to this game?

I'm having it on the PS4 Pro.

Made character creation really annoying cause the list would move up while i was trying to change stuff.

Also saw it when reading emails... I would hover over the text and it would move up on its own.

Tried to mess around with the dead zone options in the control menu, but that didn't work.

Yup, after a cutscene my character is just walking the fuck off in a random direction.

I only played up until the firefight in the apartment complex and have not encountered any drifting issues. I did notice during the montage there was a car that was shown and I saw the texture warp to show the car as was supposed to be seen.

Oh no! What's wrong with the HDR?
I think you can fix some of the issues in the settings.... one fix for the soft look is turning off filmgrain. There might be a motion blur option too. But I believe the actual resolution is above XSX. It may just appear lower due to settings.

I'm experiencing this problem on my PS4, but only in the menus. I've tried two different controllers and for both the right analogue seems to be drifting in the menus. I've increased the dead zone for the actual gameplay to avoid the problem.

This game seems to be a complete mess right now. It's odd because CDPR was the company that proved you can make huge, quality, open-world games without the absurd numbers of bugs that Bethesda fans said are impossible to avoid.

I was going to wait for the real PS5/Series X versions next year anyway, but this is making me more confident in that choice. I just hope that is enough time to get this stuff cleaned up.

Yes, its on Xbox as well. I have to turn down sensitivity but it still happens.

The game is extremely buggy.

Sometimes it stops for 3 to 6 seconds and then continues.

Res seems low game has a gross green ish hue to everything dark areas look pretty bad. I might just not bother with this until the next gen patch. And yea had the stick drift thing happening in the character creator.

I'm pretty sure i saw a deadzone setting in the options menu
Doesnt changing the deadzone value logically stop sticks drifting ?

The hue i think is due to the HDR being very shit
Turn off HDR and green hue should be nearly gone

Yep also got it bad with dualsense on PS5.

Been trying out DualShock instead to see if that improves things. So far it seemed better but from the posts here it will still happen so I guess we're waiting for cdpr 🙄

Maybe this is the issue that will unite all console warriors into one giant army. Finally working together for the first time...

I can't hold my breath that long.

I was annoyed when it started happening. I stopped using the DualSense and switched to my DS4, but the issue still continued. Good to know it's just a bug in the game.

I had it on Xbox One X 3 times already I am using the Elite Series 2, I hope it's just a bug. I don't notice it in any other games yet.

Why would anyone who isn't a moronic fanboy lie about something like that? And why would someone who isn't a moronic fanboy accuse someone of doing it? And a quick google search will show you that the issue actually exists and other people are reporting it with just one game. So shove your idiotic response.

Yeah, same. Only experienced it in Demon's Souls thus far.
Yep, at first I thought I had a bad controller, but I play a lot of games on my PS5, and none exhibit the issue except for Demons Souls. I'm assuming its a bug given how many other people are reporting the same issue on reddit.

I think I'll wait for CDPR to fix the game before buying. I still don't know how it runs on One x..

It's ok, just watched about 20 minutes of my son playing on Xbox One X and it was fine, some frame dips in car chases but pretty solid overall. Turning off Motion Blur, Film Grain and CA makes a nicer image.

If you have stick drift issues in Demons Souls then you controller is faulty, not the game. That game has little to no deadzones for the sticks to reduce the illusion of input lag and give you absolute control. Easy way to tell is to connect your controller to the PC and then inspect it.

In this case it's the game and it's happening on all platforms, even for those that aren't using a controller as an input. 2 entirely different situations, you ought to do some research before posting.

LOL, same thing happens to me with RDO the past few weeks. Not moving and the character will randomly walk in a direction for a few steps (mainly in camp). And then I am adding recipes to the Cripps Stew or eating from it 10 yards away.

I chalk it up with a synchronization issue that happens sometimes, since every response registers with their P2P Pentium 4 servers.

And yet everyone reporting it says it only happens on DS. So it's the fucking game. Maybe do some research of your own before spouting off.

I literally explained why it would be a problem in demon's souls if your controller has an issue. There's your answer as to why it might be happening and how you can know for sure but nope, you still want to play dumb and dumber.

Even after the 1.05 patch, they didn't manage to fix that one. The stick drifting is very annoying right now. Same shit happened on AC Valhalla, but they managed to fix it.
