Really sad, especially as a Chicagoan and knowing how DRose loves to do his best for his city. I still cling to the hope that he'll be able to bounce back, but I'm getting worried in the long run. It's good we still have a pretty deep roster, but everyone needs to play well consistently.

I'm a Chicagoan and thought this was the year.... He was actually playing well and logged decent minutes. Then out of the blue this happens. his future now is basically a 15 minute role player off the bench I can't see him doing anything else he's just going to get injured if he plays 40 minutes games. Which is what will happen because Thibodeau likes to play his starter so many minutes. just sucks set we may not get a championship now. Might just have to start building around a different centerpiece known as Jimmy Butler.

We can hope to develop a roster that plays as well as this season's Hawks sometime in the near future.

Part of me thinks he should retire. His legs are done. He should be more worried about being able to walk in the future than playing Bball.

it's over breh just hang it up

Except that they have pretty much no chance at getting any of those guys.

Dragic will be an unrestricted FA, Knight and Jackson will be Restricted. I don't know what the Bulls cap looks like, but isn't that huge jump in salary cap supposed to happen this year?

Dragic's almost certainly getting maxed out by the Heat and neither Knight nor Jackson are going to be let go by their respective teams. The fact that the cap is going up just means that these teams have less incentive to let their players go.

This fucking guy.

I'm gonna chalk this up to carelessness on behalf of his staff.

3 surgeries in 3 years points to mishandling of this guy on and off the court.

He should go to Pheonix.

He can come back this season if they take out his meniscus, instead of putting it back in. Thats what Beverly and Wade did. Wade has gone on record saying he regrets it, though.

Dude is done. Don't really feel that bad for him since he got huge ass endorment deal on top of this contract. I just feel bad for the fans alot more.

Dragic is going to be maxed by Miami man.

He is a little busy enjoying Florida and the Heat organization. He isn't leaving to go to Chicago.... Like I said, chi town better hope Nates available.

Fuck it, I'm still holding out hope.

From what I understand he can remove that part of the meningitis that's torn or actually have the correct surgery. One will let you return sooner but with D rose I wouldn't chance it. His ass will be out within 15 games of next season if they go that route.

Did he adjust his play so he wasn't so hard on his knees? If he didn't, that's the fault of both his trainers and his coach.
He did change it up a little, even though it often didn't look pretty. Against the mediocre teams, he'd jack up threes and go to the paint much less often. Against good teams and other star PGs, he'd play more like his old self.

Even then he wasn't attacking all the time and was a bit slower going around screens. He also only dunked, like, once the entire season.

The suns are not going to let knight walk after blowing up the team at trade time.

He has had durability issues since before going pro and the way he plays puts a ton of stress on his body. I don't think he could change his game enough to lessen the chance of these injuries and still remain an effective NBA player. I don't even now if it would be possible for him to prevent these injuries regardless of how he plays at this point.

Sadly, this may be a moot discussion.

I think it's time to come to terms with it and consider him done. I can't see any sane team giving him a decent contract going forward.

What I'm saying is, all signs point to Knicks signing him to a max when his current contract expires.

nah masta phil is here now.butler or lamarcus will be in ny next season.
