there was an announcement thread. the game was at the psx showcase today and the announcement was kind of sandwiched between other japanese game announcements and buried a little under the last of us and crash.
So they'll charge me now if I pre-order? Or is it one of those pre-charges that is removed in a day or two? I can't afford to pay for this now is what I'm saying haha

I'd rather not double-dip if I can help it, and from what I've seen the lead platform for this one was on the PS4. I'm not sure it'd be worth getting it for the Vita, just to have it on the same system as the other two, if the better gameplay experience will be on the PS4. I'm also considering grabbing 1+2 Reload, so I'll have the series on the PS4 anyway...

Yeah it took me a bit to check out, too. I'd blame it on scalpers, but knowing how hardcore Vita collectors are...
I'm still also debating about the LE for the PS4 UDG. I mean, it's the EXACT same as the Vita one, but I do want for PS4 too at some point... I did get the Reload LE, cause it's different, at least.
So many choices :x But yeah, keep trying with checkout, it will go through (even though I got booted off my login several times!), especially if you want that Vita LE.

Tried again, but now it's just loading quite a long time (I'm guessing it didn't go through). Personally, I guess I wouldn't mind the PS4 version (though granted, I'd rather save the $20 for other games & VN style games "feel" better on a handheld), but if the trials are using the same mechanics as the previous games, I feel as though the Vita's touchpad might come in handy when dealing with the "white noise" since I just mash the back pad & it's much easier/quicker compared to aiming with the analog stick.
Edit: FINALLY, I was able to get the order through. Now I just hope it only does the one check instead of trying to check for the 3 or 4 other attempts I made.

I was already real worried when it got announced today in such a mainstream sort of way, for a lot of people to know about it quickly. I actually kind of figured that it would be going quickly, but maybe not this quick!

I got it to the point now where PayPal recognizes that I placed an order but the NISA site doesn't. Fantastic.

Finally got a legit order to go through. But now I have two pending PayPal charges for ONE order. That first pending transaction should fall off on its own without ever going all the way through, but it zapped my PayPal balance until that happens. Annoying.

Remind me, how long does it take for an email to be received confirming your pre-order? Still haven't gotten one.....though considering I ordered at 3:45 a.m., I guess that would explain it.
I think if you contact support (click the lower-right Help button), they should be able to change your payment if you explain the issue.

Once mine actually went through (see my above post), I got the confirmation email from NISA immediately. Also shows as an order in my account on their site.
Actually, on second thought, they have a number I can call, so when my credit card expires, I think I'll just contact them and update it. Or try contacting them through the website. The credit card number should be the same anyway, as well as the CVC code on the back (assuming I don't need it replaced between now and then). The expiry will obviously be different, but I've had orders go through before with that being an old expiration date.
I see the order on my account, but no email. I'm sure it'll arrive eventually.
Also first time I actually got free shipping on the NISA store, the previous LEs always were below the free shipping requirement.
That's probably a good idea as well while the LE is still in stock at the moment. I just suggested support on account of the site acting up lately.

Preordered the LE for the Vita as it's a bit cheaper. I'm also getting the standard edition for the PS4 once it's available on Amazon. Probably going to end up playing on the PS4, but I want both.

I'm passing on the UDG PS4 LE. The Reload LE at least has a new box and some different art stuff, but as you said UDG's LE is the exact same as the vita version. I'll probably snag a regular copy for the ps4 at some point.

I do wish they would bring the game to PC on day 1 along with this limited edition, it doesn't make much sense to me to "hold off" on the inevitable PC port.

Welp, hopefully the guy I replied to earlier comes back and sees this, because I don't think that Vita LE is lasting even close to a month, let alone next weekend lol. Talk about underestimating demand when it's already sub 50% after less than a day.

Got my Vita LE order in earlier today when stock was at 75%. I'm a little surprised that people went with Vita over PS4!

Since it's so early, can't NISA just plan more stock? I doubt it's in full production yet. Didn't that also happen with Nights of Azure?

A port is still a port. If you have ever followed XSEED with their journey of Steam ports, you find out that sometimes it doesn't always go the way they want. Even for the newer games, delays can happen, I'd rather them NOT delay the console version, in order to get the Steam version out at the same time. Technically at this point, they don't even have the rights to a Steam version, just yet.
They might've allocated more copies, which does happen, but it's back down to the 50-25 range, again.

I got a confirmation email right away. Went through Paypal, but didn't get a temp charge for it.
Not with NISA. Would need to wait at least a few months down the road from its release. Otherwise they would've announced it for Steam yesterday.

Obviously a rights thing, Funimation probably has the distribution rights to all DR anime in NA and it was probably too much of a hassle for NISA to work out a deal.

NISA wont publish it on Steam. Spike Chunsoft will. They didn't announced Danganronpa UDG for Steam, yet it's coming and on same day and date, because Spike Chunsoft announced it and publish it themselves.
Which was the same for ZTD: Aksys not publishing itw removing Steam logo from trailers when the game was coming day and date on Steam as SC self published it.

Speaking of the Vita version, it is now down to sub 10%, While they'll likely end up increasing their order, if you don't want to risk it, you should probably jump on it now.

They have a standard physical on their store and I'm sure the standard will go to other retailers as well. No one should be expecting the LE on anything but the Nisa store though.
Crap, NISA is placing a hold for two of the LEs, meaning they're taking $160 out of my account when it should only be one. I know the hold will only last a few days, but $80 is rather a lot, especially since I was planning a purchase that costs $65 this week along with other payments being taken from my account.

None. This LE was clearly designed to only be sold on their store, they'd be losing too much money putting it on anything else. The LE doesn't need to help of other retailers for it to be able to sell, unlike some of the LEs they've done recently.
The LE? Basically 0% because all the previous DR LEs have been exclusive to the NISA store.
