Dark Souls 3 PC requirements are out

Good news that it can run on toasters. Its refreshing to see honest and uprfront PC requirements.

I hope this can run on an GTX 750ti or R9 380 in 60fps at the highest settings.
I don't know about the 750ti, but the 380 should have no problem at all if it's a good port.

Actually, if it was a really good port there is no way a 380 would run it at 1080p 60 FPS at highest settings.

A 380 is roughly twice as fast as a PS4, so if that were to run it at 1080p60 then that means that the "highest" settings wouldn't be significantly higher than the PS4 settings.

Sorry for being slightly off topic, but is the PS4 release expected to run at 30 or 60fps? Just curious if anyone knows.

Edit: Thanks dudes!

Based on what I saw at PAX Prime, the game will probably run really well. They had some secluded demo stations away from the main area running pretty well on integrated graphics on show laptops.

Even the earlier footage we were shown at the closed-doors event at E3 was dipping above 30fps at times. I'm guessing that it might actually run a reasonably solid 30fps on consoles (for once?) and it'll probably be 60fps+ on PC (roughly similar to Dark Souls 2).

Source?

Just curious, I never trust specs anyway.

While launching the Dark Souls III Steam page, some PC requirements were posted by mistake. These are not representative of the game's final specifications. We look forward to sharing those PC details in the coming months - But for now, you can add Dark Souls III to your wishlists!''

Thanks.

necro bump but im worried that ds3 on pc is going to be 30 fps. If the engine has problems above 30fps this could be why. Ds3 is a heavilly modified ds1 engine. And that engine had issues at high fps.

I hope im wrong though.

The fact that DSII was a superb port, at 60fps, kinda shows otherwise. I wouldn't worry, it'll be 60fps.

Anyhow...just preordered my copy! used the game collection:

physical version...but it comes with a steam key (obviously) and it's cheaper than all digital preorders I've seen. And people wonder why I still buy physical on PC!

From where?

How well do you think it would play on a laptop 960m? Going to be without internet at home, so will be playing offline and solo.. But it occurred to me that my laptop might run it well enough for some multiplayer action away from home.

Lol, they still haven't updated the specs.
