Dark Souls 3 'True Colors of Darkness' trailer

That music gave me Castlevenia vibe

lord Miyazaki <3

Shockingly enough, this may be what Miyazaki actually had in mind instead of Cindy Lauper covers.

Seriously, if they just recorded this person playing for hours and cut it up into OST songs, I'd be more than satisfied.

LOLZ- Saw this on Reddit- trailer revamped- I cant stop laughing

I'm pretty much on a blackout for the game, only watched this trailer. Do we know anything about the starting origins? That's the only thing I allow myself to learn about, so I can start thinking of different builds to play.

Dark Souls, I started off as Str/Int spellsword, but scrapped that and completed my first run as a Str build with greatsword.

Dark Souls 2, I went Dex with katana, but was kinda disappointed once I learned that strike damage was much better than slash for a lot of enemies.

Bloodborne, started off with Dex and Threaded Cane, and loved it.

For Dark Souls 3, I'm considering going Dex for my first character again, but maybe quality build. I'll decide once I see what the origins are.

Pro tip: The camera is controlled with the right stick.

Doesn't stop the camera spazzing out against large enemies though.

Although that doesn't excuse the trailer. The camera angles there were terrible — you can do a better job using the ingame camera, let alone using all the tools the devs probably have access to.

You can make it spazz out as much as you can avoid it.

Never liked "cinematic" shots like the ones in this trailer personally. I get the idea thought.

Fun trailer but even if this trailer was just green text on pink background saying "DON'T PURCHASE THIS GAME" I'd still buy it. Need more Souls in my life.

I was just poking fun at the trailer. Honestly though, if you can't admit the camera has problems, I don't know what to tell you. Locking on to any large enemy like Loran Darkbeast is just asking to get fucked, and unlocked isn't much better.

You should link it for us.

Is there a safe place for me to upload it to? Don't want to get on YouTube's bad side for using copyrighted material. I'm not even sure how some people seem to get away with it lol. I've had several private videos from years back suddenly get flagged.

Normally it's fine if you aren't a YouTube partner, and maybe also have edited it in someway, although I am unsure if that actually matters. I've made a couple of fan-trailers using copyrighted music (that has been edited down), and have been fine so far.
Whenever I do something like this, I have to edit the music down quite a bit to make it short enough for a trailer or short video, and I normally cut it down so much that it isn't really a substitute for the real thing.
Here is the trailer I made back in August because I was so excited about the announcement, obviously just the original Dark Souls' Bartholomew trailer adapted to Dark Souls III footage.

it isn't working!! :(((

on VLC it shows nothing

weird coz i ran it on VLC.Maybe you don't have correct codecs for mkv files.

Anyway,it's nothing crazy just a sneak pic at miyazaki's press conference in a church with PC's,a DS3 statue and a sword...meh,the real deal will be revealed next week imo

There is a Spanish mirror on youtube, it's called First Hands on Event.

I think it's the same anyways...

I haven't been so lucky. I had one video get more than one claim against it because I had several different songs in it. And they were only about 10 seconds long each. :/

That's weird. Or maybe not so unusual, but it sucks. I guess I can only hope the same doesn't happen to me because I love to edit down game trailers/footage to other people's music for fun.

I did notice that recently, on my fan trailer for Fallout 4 that I made back in September, YouTube auto-detected the song I used in it and added the song info to the description. No copyright claims or whatnot on anything yet though.
