wtf one arrow in the back kills the bridge dragon!?

I shot him once from a tower behind him, he did this janky fall forward animation, voila +10,000 souls and he is gone

The game just plays itself.

It's a glitch. Same thing happened to me but a friend had to use hundreds of arrows to kill him.

Is it possible that I am totally underpowered? I am Soul Level 15 and have already defeated the gargoyles because I summoned some help in. Now I don#t know where to go because all the enemies are too hard.
KuGsj.gif
the entrance to the red dragon bridge should have a door you can unlock.

Go up the wheel and then up and up the ladders, past 3 big guys and you're home free. I've just gotten out of there myself after falling from the wheel so many times, but at Firelink I'm unable to 'rest at the fire'. I really hope I don't die and end up back down there...

Yeah, i think that's what i am going to do. I tried the boss after blighttown, and i don't see how it is possible to kill hahaha.

I'm also at Sen's Fortress, but i can't for the life of me find any shortcuts to unlock in there, i fucking hate that place next to Blightown.

edit: nevermind, some googlefu and i've found my answer. it appears the cages can be used as elevators lol, now i know what to do.

Haha, I did the same thing yesterday. It looked like he was doing the normal animation where he jumps to the middle of the bridge, then jumps back, but he just disappeared and I got a ton of souls.

The dragon is glitched. Sometimes you could hit him once with anything and he gets all overdramatic about it and dies.

I didn't even hit him and he died on my game.

Is that the waterwheel near the bonfire in the swamp area ? I think it leads to valley of drakes right ?
Yes but there is a key (at the top of the Ladders to the right in a Treasure chest) to a door that leads you back to the Londo Ruins where the blacksmith is, you can then take the elevator back up to Firelink, you are only in the Drake Valley for like 10 seconds, just go across the plank bridge to the gate on the left.

Are you a faith build? if not stay away from divine.

I heard divine actually kills skeletons though...maybe I should just upgrade a separate weapon to divine for that.

Otherwise, I have to choose in between Raw or regular +7...hmmm. Seems like it just changes my aptitudes to D str, D dex instead of E str, C dex.

There must be another downside to Raw?

I've been trying to kill the
Silver Knight with the giant club in the tower below the Taurus Demon
for hours now, and I get close but I just can't finish him. Can anyone drop a summon sign in the area above him so I can summon them in?

Killing a dragon is always epic, sir. Even if you do it all sneaky-like.

Dragons...they're all fuckin' divas.

Now I love this game so don't get me wrong, but why in the love of GOD did they have to mess with the online portion of this game????

1: Never get invaded, heard its because the game is hosted in multiple servers... bad idea now its impossible to find people. This makes it also night impossible to help your friends out now :(.
2: Why did they have to make invading use consumables and why do you loose them when your invasion fails??
3: Tried to invade a few times but it always seem to fail.

In my opinion they really messed it up, first game I was invading and getting invading like no tomorrow... here it just feels like a lonely romp threw hell. Heck even the cool message are rare and why do you need to select a stone just to rate a message again???

Is there a cool stage where at least you take the place of a boss like in Demon souls?

Sad :(

The next OT title should have a warning in the OP. "If you are fighting skeletons that don't give you souls you are going the wrong way." It would clear up a lot of initial negative experiences in the game without really spoiling people too much.

I've been trying to farm souls in the Black Forest entrance, but my enemies seem to have better AI than anyone else's copies of the game. They don't fall for the running up the stairs and jumping off the cliff, they come round to the bottom part and beat my ass. Maybe it's because I replaced some parts in my PS3's housing and used some aftermarket thermal paste? That probably improved the AI significantly and now I can't cheese my way into free souls.
Agreed with the first part.

Also. ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

1. Sucks, but it is possible to play with your friends.
2.
there are cracked red orbs and there are Red orbs( this one has infinite usage, obtaining it is another story.
3. Since it is P2P, you need to open your ports or put your PS3 in DMZ.

So you have no Basement Key in your inventory?

Yep, same for me. Others have said it's a glitch, or maybe he's just got a weak back? Thanks for the 10K souls!!

Thanks but game is working online, I wouldn't be seeing ghosts or "some" messages... but playing with or against someone is another story :(.

Same here. I went back there and he just decided to die on me.

Happened right after I defeated
Capra Demon.

There is an epic fist fight on YT, some Japanese player uploaded it.

Found me a wolf ring!

boots poise (went from 0 to 40)

located in
the darkroot garden if you go behind the fake tree directly to your right as you come into the open area where all the sleeping iron giants are (where you pass through to get to the butterfly). It's the item you see across the chasm to your left when you are going through the early bits of the darkroot garden coming from the parish

At first I felt like it was pretty empty but I think the last 6 soul signs I've left have gotten me summoned. It has really picked up for me.

Now invading is another story. I haven't been invaded yet and I'm too scared to use one of my cracked reds because I'm not about to lose them to a netcode failure. I feel like that's something they will actually patch.

I can weild the Zwiehander or whatever now, but holy fuuuuck it's slow, I'm not used to weapons like that. How are you supposed to effectively use this thing?

Also are there any good general areas to get a better shield? I'm using an Eagle shield or something but havne't found any in a loooong time.

Can someone explain weapon upgrading to me?

I have a +6 battle axe. I want to upgrade to a max fire or max chaos. How do?

He really isn't hard to beat. Drop heavy equipments, target lock him and circle around him with your shield up. As soon as he slams into the ground, lower your shield and go for a backstab. Took me about 8 with the lame ass Drake sword.

*sigh* OK guys, I need your help. I can't beat the
the gargoyles
and that appears to be my easiest accessible boss. I understand this is the 'easy' part of the game, am I just too stupid to do this, or is there a trick to
fighting two at the same time
?

Darkroot Basin:
Hydra is dead, took me 4 tries but I finished it off. I heard there was a secret path to the left or behind the hydra but I couldn't find anything but a ladder going up. Heading to blight town, might try and get the red eye ring from the frog area before I go though.

So...can you backstab the "bigger" mobs?

Like the sleeping giants in Darkroot Garden...

The big hammer and shield guy in the church...

etc...like...are there animations for that?

Evolved1 said:
Ok... how do I stop this motherfucker.
Don't unless you want to miss out on an awesome sidequest later. Although you cant stop him at this point anyways. Check were the maiden is. Get the item and well when the time comes to use it you will know :3 So many people missed out on this *I hate killing npcs the first time*

Nah, but this is why bleed effects are awesome.

Take off all your armor and wield your drake sword or whatever you're using with 2 hands. You gotta roll past his swing and backstab. He'll one shot you even with armor so don't bother with it. Shouldn't take too long if you have the drake sword.

I did the Lautrec quest the proper way and still didn't get his armor. I'm kinda bummed out I don't have a baller gold breast plate right now.

Finally got a sword that's hitting harder than Drake. Laito +9 with 23 dex. Still having trouble with quelag even with this person I keep summoning who is in deprived starting gear with a meat cleaver. God this person is terrobe. She (fat female character) even invaded me twice while I was returning to try again and I slaughtered her.

Also I have ninja gear and look so badass with this katana.

don't think you can backstab the sleeping giants. I only attacked their backs (and usually did it like I would have backstabbed other enemies) and never got any at least.

Alright! Some fresh air from that damn Blight Town! Now let's go back to Firelink and...
wait... where's the bonfire? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE FIRE KEEPER IS DEAD? ... Wait, where's that Gold Knight? ... SON OF A B-

We'll go the cautious route.

there's a "golden resin" you can get earlier on that you put on your weapon and you stab the hell out of the first one.

If you don't have the resin. Firebombs work nicely too. otherwise, you're stabbing the hard way.

Being human and summoning the Sun Knight helps immensely as well.

Fight super defensive. TAKE YOUR TIME. Attack ONLY after the boss attacks.

Ath the point where thing become twice as hard (vague on purpose), that's when you want to take some risks, be super aggressive and attack/burn one down as quickly as possible. Once things become manageable, resort back to the defensive/dodging method and take your time.

You'll get it later, you don't get it immediately after the fight. Just be happy that by beating him you've made his armor spawn later for you.

After defeating him you will find a corpse outside the chamber of the princess in Anor Londo containing his entire suit of armor.
