If the port is garbage, people will be talking about it in the OT, I'm sure. Why wouldn't they? Official Threads don't have an "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" policy. Also, there is typically a PC Performance thread for multiplatform games with PC versions, so I would hope most specific technical conversation will go on there to keep the OT about the game instead of optimization options.

I'm so conflicted. I wanna play the DLC so bad and I don't think I can wait until Winter. But at the same time, I would rather purchase and play it on the PS3 because I doubt the PC community will ever be as large as the PS3 one, I will more than likely be able to carry over my character into the DLC, the framrate/resolution lock, and the whole GWFL thing.

I must be lucky, I've played through Dark Souls with 3 different characters up to NG++, and my load times never got to be unbearably bad. What console were you playing on? Have you tried clearing your cache?

It does look like his arm is broken or he has a gimp arm, would be a weird twist to his character we didn't see coming. Can't wait to play this!

EDIT: And yeah I want the PC version by means of having the full game+dlc early and being digital...but the PS3/360 version might have more of a community. Then again, if the PC version isnt as bad as it seems (I know) or can be fixed up by the community, PC Souls will probably have the most longevity.
