Winged Knight base was broken on mine too, easy enough to glue back.

Going to play it tonight, seems like rulebook is an alright read through. Tried a bit of solo play with it and it's straight forward with the game mechanics in mind. They could have done with a rules reference (some of the push stuff is a bit iffy to read back on).

Sorry to hear about the broken pieces, that really sucks especially after waiting for so long. I didnt back the kickstarter but I might buy this if I get a chance somewhere.

Yes. It's tough, no doubt, but I've played games that were much more deliberately unfair than this (Dungeonquest being the prime example).

Even if the Dark Souls name wasn't attached to it, it'd still be an enjoyable dungeon-crawler boardgame to spend an evening on.

Mine arrived today. Carrier was FedEx. Zero damage, thankfully! Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. The figures look even better than I thought. Very detailed. I might splurge and pick up all the later releases.

I find it weird that the miniatures are already attached to their stands... Wouldn't it make more sense to have pegs on the bottom of their feet and to let you slot them into their base?

Fun game, takes far too long (4 player)

Seems like the trivial room grind/large loot deck take up the most time. Encounters/mechanics meld very well otherwise! really good sense of progression.

Just got mine in the mail. I may not really dig into this until the stretch goals arrive in October. Give the publishers some time to fix the rules and any errors, or give the community a chance to make their own improvements.

Yep, the stretch-goal expansions are currently projected to be ready in October.
