Hey I'm liking the Darkness demo. Is the final game as good as the demo?
I can't play the Bioshock demo because my 360 is fubar'd. Is Bioshock really that much better? Can't imagine because Darkness seems pretty tight.

Do you guys think I should pick this up or just hold out for Bioshock?

Bingo. If $$ is an issue, rent The Darkness. Do whatever you can to purchase Bioshock though. It's a keeper.

The Darkness was terrible. the gunplay was weak, the story was an abomination, and the dialog is annoying at best.

I never played Riddick.

I have no problem with The Darkness to be honest. I just finished the 2nd portion of the game and am starting the final sections. Dunno why so many here soured on it. Riddick is better by almost all accounts though.

The Darkness is a rental all the way. Not a bad game at all, but it's really short and not something you're probably gonna want to play again.

Wow, The Darkness is definitely not shit. It's a solid C+ game, entertaining for what it is, but it isn't shit.

Bioshock is a AAA game though, so there's not really much of a comparison.

Just get them both. Seriously they both seem to offer really compelling single player experiences, with very different premises. Get both.
