Darkness or Bioshock

Bioshock is like that weird friend you have with that has sticky cheetos crumbs on his hands everytime he comes over.

The Darkness is like the face a dog makes when it's sick and is biting at blades of grass with it's weird long nose/face thing.

The Darkness is good for about one play-through (if you can bare all till' the end). The gameplay is pretty good in short bursts and I figured that the ending would provide some sort of...you know what? I can't do this...

Bioshock.

Think you mean you lost 40 bucks on ebay buying Darkness.

Bioshock.

Unless of course you want to listen to that tune that plays in the subway a couple more times.

Dont listen to these guys, The Darkness was a fun game, but Bioshock is one of those games that comes along every once in a while and ups the ante. You DO NOT want to miss out on Bioshock, but definitely give The Darkness a play through.

I put up with the Darkness' flaws up until Chapter 2, then the respawning enemies, constant head shots on me, and draw distance made me give up.

I would take the Bioshock demo over a full retail copy of the Darkness :lol I was pretty interested in the Darkness' story, but I think I'd rather just read the comic.

Uh the Darkness was a good game and all and I thought it was a great rental, but even having just played the bioshock demo I know bioshock is in a whole other league of its own in comparrison.

Rent The Darkness and buy Bioshock

Bioshock is the hottest thing right now, that's why everyone recommends bioshock, wait after three months, then they hype has died, and bioshock can join the darkness/lost planet/twilight princess gaf dissapointing games.

But I didn't play the darkness yet, and I want bioshock because I loved system shock 2.

I enjoyed The Darkness a lot, it was probably the best game I played this summer (Which seemed to have a huge draught). But Bioshock is going to chop this game in half.

Chopped chuck or filet mignon... decisions, decisions...

In all fairness, the Chuck eye, located near the end of the chuck and the beginning of the rib primal, is a fantastic cut, often labeled and sold as Ribeye because of its similarities in taste, tenderness and appearance.

Lets not be too hasty with our beef cuts now. Every part is delicious!

how could you not like the darkness? i mean you got to penetrate people with your large, throbbing, demon cock. that's awesome.

I do that every day in real life, so that aspect wasn't a huge draw for me.

Whomever coined the term "There's no such thing as a dumb question..." never read this thread.

Here's how awesome Bioshock is: I. Me. The Only Gamer in the World Allergic to First Person Shooters is waiting with bated breath for Bioshock to be dropped on my desk next week. The demo struck a chord with me that hasn't been so much as plucked since Metroid Prime came out.

First Person Shooters that actually put a strong emphasis on the single-player and don't save the script for last get two huge thumbs up from me. I kind of wish there were more of them.

Before this shit totally gets out of hand... Quake 4 was good.
Nothing spectacular, aside from the terrible framerate it was enjoyable though... but it came with Quake II on the bonus disc, so it's automatically better than The Darkness. :D

This Bioshock crap really has to stop - it' not even out and I'm starting to get sick of it.

LOL man I don't know. BioShock is way overhyped. get the darkness now and get the PS3 version of BioShock in a couple months. the Blu-ray will make the graphics way better. That seems wise.

That's where the uncontrollable laughing started.
