Not terrible I guess? hard to judge, but not feeling the voices for Bats and Damian. Seems to be almost no info on this JLA Adventures thing, other than maybe Diedrich Bader reprising Batman.

Yep. I wish he and Dick had just left Gotham to become a Batman and Robin somewhere else when Bruce came back.

I've never really liked any of the Al Ghul related shit. Talia and Ra's do nothing for me. So when I heard about Damian I was pretty sure it was going to be some dumb shit. It shows how good the character was that so many people liked him despite the terrible sounding concept.

Yesterday my hype for this movie was at 100 but today it has gone down near to 0.

Why? well if you buy Justice League War on itunes there are some extras, one of them being an extended sneak peek of the "Son of Batman" movie and apparently they are going to replace Tim Drake and Damian's interactions with Dick Grayson.

They said that they wanted to explore how Dick and Damian hated each other and " we hope you want to see Nightwing and Damian fight, because they’re going to fight."
How in the world can someone mess things up so bad? why didn't they just put Tim in the first place? Dick is almost like a surrogate father to Damian when Bruce was "dead".

So yeah, I'm not looking forward to this movie as I was originally, but I'll still give it a shot when it comes out, maybe.

Nope the creator of the character stated its pronounced Raesh.
And considering the character is from a fictional, now destroyed Arabic culture, you can't really approximate it to the real world.

this is how it was pronounced more than 1000 years ago, Ra's is what? 600 years old? the creator most likely didn't know how it was pronounced in Arabic. I would agree if the words were made up, but the words are known their meaning (the Demon's head) is defined and their pronunciation is clear, changing them without good cause or reason doesn't make any sense. Why not pronounce Batman as Bathman while we are at it.

a) Again the DC Universe is fictional who's to say the pronunciation remains the same?
b) The creator has stated the pronunciation.
c) Most Batman media have pronounced it that way.

That makes it signed and sealed for me.

Hell Batman Beyond had a scene where someone pronounces it wrong (Raz) and is corrected.

Damn, Tim just can't catch a break when it comes to being in animated adaptations.

Damian's only really interesting when he's interacting with his brothers and sisters. So I'm glad at least one of the other kids is in this, but I dunno. Hopefully the movie doesn't try to sell Damian as the only, true child and heir to the Batman legacy.

It does mess up Dick's characterization quite a bit. He's so over fighting with little kids about his place in the family.

Huh. Yeah, this was the best possible adaptation for me, so I was at max excitement, and then the trailer made it much lower (Deathstroke? Awful Damian voice?) and then this post killed the rest of it dead. God damn, DC. God damn.

My guess as to why they're doing this is because it would tie in better with the nu52 universe which saddens me immensely. This shitting on Tim Drake thing DC has going on is breaking my heart.

Not a fan of the art style, both characters look like stick figures. I much prefer the type of art and animation used in the Flashpoint Paradox, Dark Knight Returns, and so forth. Hopefully the Arkham movie goes back to that.
