Can't belive that this movie leaked on line, and they still delay it..
i just watched it last night. WOW it is bad, but lots to look at. there are life bars in the movie and voice overs for who wins the matches.

Let me clear up this Life Bar thing. There aren't life bars floating above each character when they're fighting. Part of the story is that the fighters are being analysed (think data colection ala Street Fighter Alpha Movie) so some views show them being watched on computer screens with their stats displayed which just happen to include a mock up shot of what you'd see when you're playing the game - including the now legendary life bars. They also include the DOA announcer. The film was bad but it knows it is and that what separates it from the Street Fighter Movie.

It was an awful...so awful to the point that is was enjoyable because you laugh at how bad it really is.I did like Christie though. She got some good scenes and seem to start out as the character similar to the game, but all that was lost by the end.
The guy playing Gen-Fu had me rolling too..they tried way too hard to make him look like the character.

This movie is so bad and funny because of it. The ending is so awful. :lol
Some of the girls are pretty good lucking but don't really fit the role. Tina and Christie were probably the best casting while Kasumi and Ayane were terrible for the girls. The woman that played Helena was pretty good looking.
The best casting in the entire film was Kevin Nash, I don't think I've seen him move that well in years!
Oh and the fight with

I came across a pretty nice copy of it, and honestly I wanted to hate it and it IS really bad but it doesnt take itself seriously which makes it kind of a throwback to the late 80s and early 90s ninja kickboxer bloodfight movies that I would rent all of the time.
