someone needs to take team ninja to a strip club so that they can experience titties first hand and learn how they move.

Yes, I'm well aware of how a real woman's breasts move, thanks. :) I'm also aware that these aren't real women, and while the blatantly over-the-top breast animation might detract from the visuals for you, let's just say that I don't share your need for realism in this instance. :)
BAH! BAH I say!

I think that looks GREAT :D

Yeah i'm sure they are trying to mimmick real life and not Anime in this game :rollseyes

Can someone host the vid somewhere? The download link on that website isn't working for me and neither is the player.

Okay, I can't DL the trailer right now, but from what you've all said: what the fuck is the focus of this game? Is it still about volleyball or is it just a kind of vacation sim? Because frankly, I'm down with that. I spent all my time in the casino or playing the pool jumping (only 100 more games before I can buy the Venus!) game since the VB engine was kind of boring.

BLIM - It's E3 time, dust won't settle and people won't notice a watermarked trailer from a non-watermarked trailer. DO IT!!!!!

It'll be on marketplace later, wait it out.

Having said that the download link on the first page worked for me, just leave it a few minutes to connect, the speeds were great too.

IGN: How far are you into development of DOAX2?

Tomonobu Itagaki: We began development early this year. I thought my staff would be completely exhausted from their work on DOA4, but in fact they are working quite happily. You know, when you work on games about people beating each other or slicing monsters with swords, it's nice to have a change of pace once in a while.

Graphics look a wee bit better than DOA4. I noticed some self-shadowing. Does DOA4 have that? I never noticed it if it did.

Nope. And I think the graphics are going to be upgraded quite a bit before the release, Itagaki says in the IGN interview that they startad the development early this year.

Not self-shadowing in DOA4, and it really was missing. Just this would have make the game look so much better;

Team Ninja disappoints yet again with graphics on the 360 :( Hopefully it will be upgraded alot before release. Getting it regardless tho, due to the 360 now being the system I plan to get this year.

I never thought doa looked like plastic, it was more the soft looking style, but this reallly does look like.. OMG Boooooobbbssss..

Whatever. I tip my hat.

Ok just watched the trailer <before i just saw the pics>. I'm sorry but none of that was real-time or did Tecmo say otherwise?

the future of Ninja G rests on the tech from this game.... :)

LMAO!! Partly because there is some truth to that statement. I'm glad Itagaki is getting this out of his system. after this is done, he can foucs on Code Cronus or Ninja Gaiden 2. Next E3 should be wonderful! :D

I'll probably be picking up DOAX2 at some point, just like I did with DOAX. I'm expectinglots of XBL goodness with this title.

This doenst look 'omg' enough to be suspect, no?

+ Team Ninja's results are usually in tune with what they show off.

You can clearly see some polys and Team Ninja has been legit with the media so far, so I believe it is real time with some edits here and there. While it is not VF5 (not that it needs it or something) I think that the new lighting/shadowing combo makes a world of difference.

I guess I'll have to wait and see some real gameplay shots with hud and all. The trailer gave off the pre-rendered look cause of all the splash and other effects and transitions it had. Usually trailers with ingame footage don't do that.. now ofcourse that doesn't mean those weren't ingame but the image quality seemed a bit too nice. Didn't notice any sort of jaggies. It looked so much better than doa4.
